Will Smith’s much-anticipated new superhero flick ‘Hancock’ was simultaneously released in both US and UK yesterday. Though generally receiving a ‘so-so’ response from most critics, the film is poised to deliver Smith’s highest grossing debut to date, with early projections touting somewhere in the region of $80 Million being grossed in its first weekend.So with that said, That Grape Juice wants to know if you’ll be going to see ‘Hancock’. If not, why? If you’ve seen it already, your view?

I saw the movie on Tuesday and I can agree with the critics that said it was so-so. However I would still recommend people to go see it for themselves. There are definite funny parts in it which to me was worth seeing it even if I feel it veered left near the end.

It became more serious closer to the end but the final scene and another scene after the credits have started rolling lifted the good atmosphere again. I give 8-9 out of 10. It didn’t veer at the end imo.

Saw the movies u guys and it was fab considering I fall asleep in almost all the movies except the good ones….slept thru WANTED hmmm but was sooo awake all thru HANCOCK my boo was surprised and i almost won an award so there u go…a review lol
Hancock looks like interesting spin on the latest superhero movie craze… if nothing else at least Will Smith tends to be pretty funny
i watched this last night! it was pretty good! there were alot of funny parts, cool parts, and lots of cool effects. i give it 4 out of 5 stars!
Saw it last night…this movie is so funny. I don’t know why, but corny ass Will Smith acting like a asshole is just so hilarious to me. Anyway, worth the $9.
The movie was good. I was in tears at the end cause I felt for that little boy and his dad. And then…near the end end it was a relief…and funny. “you asshole” lol
I really enjoyed it…going to see it a 2nd time tomorrow.
Just saw the movie. I loved it because it is different. Not what I expected from the usual comic superheroes we’re used to seeing. I wonder if they’ll have a second version of HANCOCK to show where he really came from. Yeah some of the scenes were corny but Will Smith made me laugh all thru out the movie. I LOVE HIM! BTW does this make Will Smith the first Black African American Superhero seen on screen?

Hancock wasn’t BAD, but it wasn’t great. I thought there were funny parts–the baseball bat smash, but there were too many twists, and the beginning was kinda boring. I love the kid in the movie—and even made an effort to get substance out of it. Maybe Superman would be better.
