Michelle Williams Performs ‘Stop This Car’ At Apple Store

Published: Monday 7th Jul 2008 by Sam
With the release of Michelle Williams’ new LP ‘Unexpected’ on the horizon (due August 12th), the singer continues along the promo trail; this time performing at the Apple Store in her native Chicago, Illinois last week. Check out her rendition of album cut ‘Stop This Car’ below:

A few iffy bits aside, Michelle sounded great. ‘Stop This Car’ is one of, if not, the, best cut I’ve heard from the album thus far, so it’s good to see her do the song justice live. Word has it the song will serve as ‘Unexpected’s’ second single.

What do you think of the performance?

I can’t stand when an audience don’t get involved, or at least pretend to be interested, especially if you go and stand at the front, on camera! If those girls are so bored, they should’ve stood at the back somewhere or even better gone outside.

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE MICHELLE!
She gave this show in a store for God’s sake. Those people were just there to say they were there. However, if you check her out here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=DALwZfBDX60 You can clearly see how she performs when you have an active crowd.

I will be buying her album on DAY 1. GO MICHELLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think i liked this song without the heavy beat and stuff, the one that got leaked. But still an amazing song regardless. This and Ne-Yo’s are the two summer CD’s i NEEDDD!!!! Good stuff!

aint nobody trying to promote Michelle, or cop her album
She may as well hang it up because her album is going to flop Aug. 12 she will be lucky if she sells 50,000 copies

    Believe that

Matthew Knowles is gonna make sure that Michelle and Kelly stay way way way under the radar

Nobody will shine from DC besides BeYAWNce’
