New Amerie Promo Shot

Peep Amerie looking fly, as usual, in this new promo pic. The latest addition to the Def Jam roster is currently working on the follow-up to her ‘Because I Love It’ LP, with a bevy of hit-makers including Bryan Michael Cox and Ne-Yo.

Ameria looks good as always but this comes as no surprise to me. However, she had some very good records on her last album. It’s just too bad the label drop the ball. She should of just went Independent.

it was imported into the US from japan. i bought my copy from walmart. u still might be able to get one, since her record label didn’t market it.

It’ll be interesting to see how much promotion she gets now…I doubt it’ll be very much, because you know Deaf Jam are focusing their efforts on Rihorror instead. They dropped Fefe Dobson and many others just so they could put money into her, so why will it be any different with Amerie?

Im intrested to see what the label do with her. I wonder if they will totally re-invent her like Rihanna or leave her in the dust. Her project seems intresting but im intrested to see. Very intrested.

She looks beautiful but cant say im too excited seeing the confirmed producers. Im hoping for something a bit more energetic from the album but looking at the producers it seems as though shes going for a more slow rnb album which doesnt seem to suit her type of voice as well. But i’ll reserve my judgement until i hear some of the material. Hopefully she goes with something more innaoative then the usual “neyo” formula.

People need to stop blaming Rihanna for Def Jam dropping unprofitable artists. Its a new day, they have Chrisette Michelle, Karina Pasian,Rihanna, and now Amerie all very different and very talented artists that easily out shine the old artists they used to have….
