Garbage…you can tell R. Kelly wrote this song but his style is good for him not them. If it was just a Kelly track it would have probably been hot.

As a musician and performer trying to make it in the business myself, i can just imagine melodies frustration at having a second album out with the PCD and still…. shes left kissing nicoles bottom with the rest of the girls, i know for a fact the others cant sing live but MELODY IS BETTER VOCALLY than nicole so let her at least do some high notes or give her the bridges! damn im very upset at the new PCD material, they dont seem as fierce a group as they could be, im sad t say that the girlicious album is sounding MUCH better than PCD’s latest efforts.

Can i also just say that who else is pleasantly suprised by how nice girlicious sound on there new album? the tracks are great fun & there harmony abilities are awesome, given i doubt they are amazing live but still at least there actually trying to achieve the best they can and not jus letting the beats take over. girlicious have staying power and i hope this album pushes through on the american chart,
im from the UK and we love fierce girl groups so when they come over i reckon they should do well, we love a good club banger group!

when i grow up was definately a grower for me so its no surprise that this song, IMO, SUCKS. i agree with a multitude of you, R.Kelly really shouldn’t be getting work right now. his stuff is all played out now. nothing original or captivating. the whole song is lackluster to say the least. the other songs on the album should really step it up a bit. and if this is not included in the album i think it would be better. dump it in the “unreleased” bin and move ahead

dunno but she should..the vid of her singing hurt on youtube was really good..but know what you mean about the oversinging thing, its like she rarely gets a chance to sing, so makes the most of it a little too mcuh when she does get the chance!! melody is my fave though 😀
the case that sticks out the most to me was when all of them sang live at some show not sure which one and she was just completely overdoing it. and then when she was out of breath she wasn’t there so it made no sense there were parts where you could HEAR her and then nothing cause she was singing the hook of when i grow up. at least thats what it sounded like to me.

U guys don’t realize they are pushing there hardest to make Nicole a huge star and the leader of the group even more. IT really won’t happen too much 4 her because people are starting to see that Melody has more talent and her mngmnt should’ve already known that from her solo success that she doesn’t truly have what it takes.
