Solange’s sophomore album ‘Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams’ hit stores today. There is no doubt that all eyes will be on this release for many a reason, not least because of her superstar sibling.
I’m really feeling Solange’s everything this go-round. Having become well acquainted with the album, I must say she is serving up a very solid effort. More power to her.

Yea…Yea…and YEA. I never thought i would be a fan but ever since the double leak of ChampagneChroniKnightcap and White Picket Dreams early last year…i knew somethin was in the works…And i signed on instantly..shes innovative and effortlessly sets herself aprart from her sister.
I have been plaing this album since last week and it takes me right back to my grandmama basement…vintage with splashes of electronica…brilliant and full of substance.
Favs: VALENTINE’s DAY, This Bird, Comsic Journey, God Given Name, I Told u So, and White Picket Dreams.

I appreciate her effort and, having listened to most of her album, am satisfied with what I have heard. Her voice and style are unique and that is a big plus. I am pretty sure that I will be buying it.
Actually this album came out last week (18th). It’s a really good album though; very creative

BUllish! This is garbage. the 1st single sounds like Martha and the Vandellas “heatwave” from the sixties(Lawsuit!) and it sucks!! The second single with the “mary ,mary”(the monkees) drum loop is wack too. I actually like the first single she ever put out better, y’know the one with N.o.R.E. from the 1st cd.

I want be buying it because I downloaded it for FREE! The music is okay, but nothing I would actually want to spend my money on…
there were two good songs on the album. and as much as i disliked i decided, it became a favorite next to the others. she made an effort but it didnt feel naural, her voice became irritating at times, and like someone said, you are biased because hey granted you some interviews. this cd is mediore, she really cannot compare herself to amy who will be remembered twenty, thirty, forty years from now.
plus, i wont sleep easy knowing she has my money in her bank account.
