The second video of Beyonce’s dual release, ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)’ premiered today on MTV. As with the ‘If I Were A Boy’ clip, this video was directed by Jake Nava. About it, I must say, as a performance piece (which it is in its entirety), the video really is something. The high octane choreography drives home the fact that there are few that can do what Ms. Knowles does when doing her. That said, it wouldn’t have hurt to see something a little more visually stimulating than just the same background and set-up. Still, that doesn’t take away from what is, no doubt, a great video.

It’s ok…It looks like it was choreographed by a dancer for an HBCUs marching band. I went to Hampton Univ and she looks like she was a part of the Ebony Fire (the name of the girls who danced with the marching band). It’s not bad and it’s not great.
The song is wack and the it vid is even worse. Ciara is a WAAAAAYYYYY better dancer. I’m sick of the same crap for Bey, she’s never impressed me. Its the same booty dance over and over. The vid is bland and boring. Step it up Bey, you are too much talent to waste.

Beyonce is one of the BADDEST in the game. . . I wish you guys would stop already with the comparisons to Ciara . . . they are not in the same league. Yes Ciara can dance, but her singing can't hold a candle to Beyonce. Beyonce is an awesome dancer and an amazing singer. They are even in different genres. Ciara is Crunk and R & B, while Beyonce is more R & B and somewhat leanng towards pop. The biggest difference between the two in case anyone has questions . . . Is concert status: Ciara concert tickets sell for about $50 while Beyonce will sell out the largest arenas on her own at about $90 and up per ticket. There is enough fans for both of them and I'm sure they will both be paltinum.

Yeah i went to Hampton University and graduated in 05…..I work now in NY for the New York Knicks Basketball team….But i must say two things….Ebony Fire and HU Cheerleaders will be dancing to SIngle Ladies…lol..I know that for a fact…lol..SHe was killling them in the video….Beyonce has so much grace when she dances..its not like CICi but its more entertainging to watch….And she will have the gay clubs rocking…I work with some and they had to me dying today ….. I’m a little disappointed with Jake Nava. Usually he make the videos come to life with his views. This one was just so simplistic and cheap. My God. “Shake IT Off” Mariah Carey video is still in IMO visually a beautiful video, his best work. Beyonce did her thang but the video fell short for me.
