Those of you who caught the season ‘finale’ of Making The Band 4 will have seen that in a dramatic climax, Diddy kicked out one member from the group. Check out the extract of an episode summary courtesy of the best Danity Kane fansite on the net – DanityKane.nu below:When they arrive back in New York City, they head over to Bad Boy Records to meet with Diddy. Things start to heat up as Diddy talks to the girls about the future of Danity Kane. The girls lay it out all on the table and speak about their untrustworthy relations with each other. The group comes to a crossroad with their careers, and Diddy discusses that the “reality of the situation has changed with the vision.” Danity Kane had four great years, a number one album with MTV nominations. Diddy’s proudest moment was watching them perform on tour, but he is uncertain whether or not he should invest millions into this group if they can’t work together.
During their group meeting, Aubrey gives Diddy lip and he decides to kick her out of Danity Kane.
As much as much this seems like a ploy for ratings (especially with there now being a ‘live finale’ of Making The Band all of a sudden scheduled for next Tuesday), there is a very real undertone to all the theatrics. Something clearly hasn’t been right in the group for while now and it’s all come to a head on the show. Next week’s finale will be real interesting.

DK seemed to have great chemistry on camera & on stage, but I guess like the old saying goes "you don't know what goes on behind closed doors" is a true statement… DK without any member of the group: Aubrey, D. Woods, Dawn, Shannon or Aundrea is not DK if you ask me. I as a fan fell in love with all 5 girls for different reasons. Anyway, I guess we'll find out the truth next week, since no official statement has been made by the group, Diddy or Bad Boy as of now… I really hope that this is just a ploy to get ppl talking. The issues they were having seemed as if they could be resolved, if they had more group meetings like the one Diddy tried to get them to have.

DIDDY is the problem with danity kane. if they didn’t have that c*** for a manager, they’d be just fine.
such a shame this asshole continues to f*** up their careers, they had 2 HOT albums and could be far bigger than they are. i mean ‘welcome to the dollhouse’ sold 200,000+ copies whereas pussycat dolls sold less than 100,000… these girls have a huge fanbase and could overtake pcd with the right marketing.

Honestly, I think it’s a test from Diddy. Not to get ratings, but rather to see if anybody will stick up for Aubrey and say “if she goes, I go” to really see what the opinions are.

While I don’t really care for Danity Kane, I was intrigued by this because I knew it would be Aubrey.
That said, I think she raised a very real point during that conversation. Diddy did have an obligation to tell the whole group what he’s been doing with Dawn. It does sew seeds of distrust. His “my way or the highway’ s*** is precisely why he’s lost every artist he’s ever had. It’s b*******. He doesn’t need Aubrey in the group, that’s true. But in fairness to the ladies, he should have disclosed what he was doing. It put Dawn in a really awkward position of having to (probably) keep a secret from the rest of the girls. That’s not really fair.
WHAT is going on. what is Diddy thinking NO,NO,NO,NO this can not be happening. if one of the girls leave then what’s gonna happen, will they continue on as 4 or will there be a new fifth member, and who will it be. it might be a girl who tried out on the third season. I hope this is just a publicity stunt. because I’m gonna be mad if one of the girls leave.

I think that Dawn should have went to her group mates and told them the situation and not have them think one thing when it is not true. Diddy is the boss and does not have to answer to anyone in the group. I feel that the group needs to communicate to each other better to get that money together.
okay I am very confused and dont know what to belive…. I love DK so much!!!!! Aubrey cannot leave the group because she might not be the most talented in the group but she is the icing on the cake pretty much…. she completes the DK Cake……. But this season finale was shot a week before the VMA's during fashion week….. As we all know they were on the VMA's together as DK Aubrey nd all……… The weekend after the VMA's they came to my home MASSACHUSETTS!!!!!! & gave an amazing concert at our Big E! Festival it was amazing and they definatley looked very much together… and they also addressed the break up rumors saying "god brought this group together, and only god can break us apart" and on September 24th which was just little over a week ago they performed at some presidential event they sung Damaged and they killed it…… and just last weekend they were in San Diego at some DUB Car show event there is footage of that on youtube…… So i think this is all for show and to boost ratings which is very smart of Diddy and MTV…. But who am I to say anything I am just a fan…… and if DK really does break up I will be so heated because I love them so much!!!!!!!!!! DK needs to stay with the original members…….. I would only wait 10 hours in line to see Shannon, Aundrea, D. Woods, Dawn, and Aubrey…… thats DANITY KANE BABY!!!!

Um to answer (response #9’s knowledge of pcd) danity kane might sell alot in the states but pcd sells AROUND THE WORLD!!! they’re known internationally whether as danity kane isn’t and they also HAVE A WORLD TOUR coming up, so that makes their album sell more.ANDDD comparing both debut albums, dk went #1 and pcd #5 but who stayed around longer?? who’s singles actually made it high on the charts?? This was taped before the Vma’s.Which Danity Kane was at together including Aubrey.I think the problem is every single person in the group has different things going on.Aundrea was right if the rest of the group want to do other things and not focus on the group. Why be in it?Dawn and Aubrey want to be solo artist secretly.Shannon just wants to be in the group.She like screw the bs.D-woods wants to shine more.Dawn and Aubrey try to compete with each other to much.And my personal opinion I think Dawn is jealous of Aubrey.I heard it all in here voice in a interview were she talked about Aubrey.Hate to say but this group is almost through and I’m very upset. I love Danity Kane a lot.As for PCD they are very close so even if Nicole does do all the singing it doesn’t bother them.So get over it people.

Diddy is the one 2blame if DK split he thinks just having them on Making The Band is gonna get them worldwide success.. NOOOO!!! They need 2 tour, promote singles everywhere and stop coming out with videos so far apart. The whole handling is disjointed and all the members know but Aubrey the only one who talk about it and that’s what really pisses Diddy off.
He needs to step up his game because the way they sound and move they could’ve been soo huge already rather than just a group from Making The Band..
The show helped them to a point but its kind of a hinderance now.. They could be in europe working, promoting instead of just committed to TV and US tour projects. They’ve already made it at home so give them a proper chance outside the box.
BTW Aubrey must stay as shes a key member like all of them.
