A short snippet of a new Christina Aguilera track called ‘Dynamite’ surfaced earlier today. Set to feature on her forthcoming greatest hits LP ‘Keeps Gettin’ Better: A Decade of Hits’, the cut, to put it bluntly, sounds rubbish. Really leaves a lot to be desired.
Judging by the new material I’ve heard from Xtina thus far, it appears as if her best days may be behind her. Since the dizzy heights she achieved with her ‘Stripped’ LP she has yet to deliver anything nearly as good IMO. SMH…

xtina is always trying something thats new and different for her. Sometimes it works and its magic like “Stripped” sometimes it doesn’t work out “Back To Basics”, this etc. That’s what happens. believe in her talent though she’s going to be here for a while.
I have faith in Christina and plus you guys this is only a “GREATEST HITS” album and NOT a new album. lol So you fans should have nothing to worry about.

That sound, which isn’t new btw, is not for everybody. I don’t care how great a singer she is. She needs to find a style thats good for her (stripped) and stick to it. Plenty of artist keep a certain stlye and still evolve, take risk and stay relevent. She is going to f*** around be the Jack-of-all styles. C’mon Xtina, ur better than this.

Sam, calm down. she is releasing a Greatest Hits ALBUM not a f**kin’ STUDIO ALBUM. she probably just wanted to put out a few new crap songs before she changes her style of music once again.

First of all its a damn 40 second clip! How can u say its rubblish without listening to the whole song. Second of all its a greatest hits album! everyone always puts their left overs on the greatest hits. I personally think Back to Basics was a better cohesive album, Stripped had great songs but was all over the place genre wise. Sam im going to need you to get a clue, some of the music you show from England sound way worse than this.

People are just use to hearing the same Sh*** that everybody else puts out and they’re not use to hearing something different! Christina is the best because she doesn’t work with who everybody else works with! She does different things each time so that people don’t get bored with her! For example: Pussycat Dolls made a part 2 to PCD and the sales haven’t been all that, Beyonce doesn’t know how to reinvent herself because I AM Sasha Fierce just sounds like it’s going to be a sequel to B’Day Kelly Rowland can’t sell worth Sh** Mariah Carey continues to make the same thing each time around and it’s gettin boring.
So yea Christina knows what to do and people are hatin!

i disagree with one of the comments above. IMO I thought back to basics was a good sound as well as everything else she’s done in the past. I’m not a big fan of the new direction but we’ll just have to wait till her newest studio effort drops. i’m sure she knows what she is doing. trial and error.
i agree SR, i feel like this greatest hits is a trail and error, i feel like the real album is going to be on point. Christina’s a really smart girl, she knows whats shes doing. im just suprised sam is willing to write her off because of a small clip.

I think everyone is waiting for Christina to make a 'stripped part 2' album… I know I am! Intelligent song writing with strong lyrics that everyone can RELATE TO.
Christina's voice compliments the R&B genre, so i hope her management really steer her away from all this pop/electro rubbishness
Until she gives her fans what they want, her popularity & sales will eventually start to suffer. I'm waiting for another meaningful R&B inspired album, until she delivers that – I have no interest in her current poppy projects.
I know a lot of people who lost faith in her after 'Back II Basics' and these new songs she's putting out there REALLY arent helping her cause.

I won’t judge until I hear the whole song. I love Keeps Gettin Better (although the video was a dissapointment) and will be picking up her greatest hits cd. Can’t wait to see what she does this time around with her upcoming studio album.
Like others said, I think that Sam (as well as others) need to calm down. I think that she’s just having some ‘fun’ with this. I fully expect a complete, studio, and new album to be great.
