This photo is clearly a metaphor of what happen to her, I’m clearly NOT surprised that people here (including sam) are not able to understand it.
Cause if you try to think about the meaning of this photo, (yeah, i know it can be difficult sometimes to think and put your personal feelings aside) It really seems as if someone has taken her clothes off by force, letting her stand n*** and vulnerable for everyone to see (look at the defensive pose), and she’s trying to cover her modesty, her privacy … and yeah, it might actually has something to do with what happen to her 9 months ago
As always, Rihanna’s work is full of meaning, love this cover ! She just prooves again and again that unlike her some of the celebrities we all know, she is intelligent. But of course, unless you are yourself intelligent and educated, you might not be able to grasp the meaning of this. I’m telling that because i’m tired of people putting her down because they are unable to understand where she’s going. And believe me, i’m no fan of her, just appreciate the girl.

I wish people would stop looking to stars as role models. Role models are suppose to be your parents, people in your community who have direct influence on you, God, your family, not stars who cannot possibly live up to the image or that title.
If you were always supposed to explain the why and how, that would not be called Art, Lena. Pictures, drawings, paintings, most of the time, have always a meaning and it’s not for the autor to explain it. People should be able to grasp it through their own knowledge. And personally, I don’t see why her nudity is such a problem, here. It’s not vulgar. You all act as if you were all so shocked but when it’s beyonce who performed half dressed, it’s not a problem. When rappers speak of s** in their songs in a way that is clearly not appropriate, it’s not a problem either. That is hypocrite to me.
