Alicia Keys continues along the promotional trail for her ‘Element of Freedom’ LP, taking to the stage on The David Letterman Show to perform current single ‘Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart’. As ever, Keys’ delivered a great performance. I really cannot get enough of this song at the moment. Love it!

ALICIA IS A BETTER SONGWRITER/PRODUCER. STICK WITH THAT. HER VOICE IS GETTIN WEAK!! I SEE SIGNS SHE’S LOSING HER VOICE ALREADY. DEF. WEAKER THAN IT WAS ON HER LAST ALBUM. SHE’S STARTING TO SCREECH A BIT ON THE BELTS (IF U CAN CALL IT THAT). SMH.
I agree great performance and great song!! Its a passionate song and she sang it that way. Her voice sounded fine, I do think she is trying different things with her voice but I’m cool with that. There is more than one piano player. The man on keyboard started before she did. Will be buying the album this week.

Her voice was okay. She is hit or miss. I don’t know how you can do okay on this song and than she can sing NewYork State of Mind with no problem….i love her though
