THAT BEYONCE REIGN JUST WONT LET UP

  2. Kyus December 3, 2009

Pussycat Dolls’ song I Hate This Part should have got nominated. Say what you want about PCD, that song was quality R&B

  3. BLACK December 3, 2009

oKAY BEYONCE I SEE YOU, WOW @ LADY GAGA & TAYLOR SWIFT.

  4. shedaman December 3, 2009

i’m surprised sam the kelly stan didnt mention she got a nom w/ david guetta for their song but congratulations to everyone except pleasure p if the rumors r true. i hope maxwell wins at least one

  5. S.P December 3, 2009

wow the grammys look cool, pleasure p’s under is the s***, atleast m not the only one who thought so, vocal performance of the song is absolutly spectecular. lions, ligers and bears i knew it would get nominated both 4 its writing and vocal performance, jazmine is simply amazing, she now has 7 grammy nominations from a debut album. maxwell should win 4 song of the year with pretty wings, but i think single ladies might take it. another unexpected contender is rihanna who grabbed 2 nominess, i think run this town should win the rap sung category, i dont understand what beyonce and kanyewest r doing with ego at rang sung category, i mean the song is not dat great. Drake should win 4 best rap song for best i ever had, kid cudi should also win for day n night. i was surprised to c ciara’s love s** magic receiving a nomination. Boom boom pow should win the dance recording category!

  6. AOI December 3, 2009

Can’t believe after all the effort that went into releasing the album in time, Whitney did not get a single nomination… (?!)

  7. DRE December 3, 2009

WTF?!!? why wasn’t KEYSHIA COLE nominated for anything? someone with such great talent should have been nominated. now I’m definetely NOT watching the show

  8. Imyourstar702 December 3, 2009

    That takes the P***!!! Where’s Whitney’s nomination??

  9. robyn December 3, 2009

very disappointed at Whitney and chrisette Michele not getting a nom- that’s some messed up ish there! ah well, like last year, won’t be watching

  10. klg0845 December 3, 2009

Whitney got blacklisted from the Grammys because she has burned too many bridges with the members of the Academy. Whitney treated everyone she ever worked with like sh–. And I don’t just mean label execs. She treated engineers, Producers, writers, other performers, etc. badly. The industry at large is happy they are no longer living in a Whitney world. And they are not going to help her come back. Right or wrong, that’s how the Industry feels about her.

  11. Mr.727 December 3, 2009

A lot of people are mad about Whitney not getting the Grammy nod! I see Beyonce , Taylor Swift! I believe that Taylor will come out on top!!!!!!!!

  12. Fatima December 3, 2009

How does Jay-Z have two songs up for Rap Song of the year and then not get nominated for album? He was beat by COMMON who released one of the worst albums in recent memory. I used to be a fan, but UMC was such a sell-out atrocity I lost respect for him. How does that work?

  13. Fatima December 3, 2009

Oh wait, it came out in September. After the cut off date? but not for the singles? Grammy’s are confusing.

  14. Rob December 3, 2009

so where’s the comeback gal whitney? i’m not surprised at all. The grammy nods are heavily influenced by big album sales and hit singles.

  15. Imyourstar702 December 3, 2009

I shouldn’t be too suprised they did the same thing to Mariah last year…smh

  16. amar December 3, 2009

so glad real r and b artists get nominated unlike other award shows

    musiq,Anthony Hamilton,maxwell,Calvin Richardson,India.Arie

they are the real r and b artists forget beyonce, rihanna, chris brown, lady gaga

  17. Sandra December 3, 2009

AHAHAHAAHA….@ Whitney not getting ONE SINGLE NOMINATION!! This speaks for its own-.

  18. Me.Me. December 3, 2009

QUEEN BEYONCE!!! GO GIRL!!! TAKE THEM ALL!!!

  19. john December 3, 2009

i hope maxwell gets some awards. i hope they dont give all the r&b awards to beyonce(which probably will happen)/

  20. Imyourstar702 December 3, 2009

And wheres Chrisette Michele??? her album was real good..

  26. The Way I Izzzzzzzzzz December 3, 2009

Beyonce is going to lose all catergories ….This is not the “VIDEO” Awards…..And Lady GaGa and Taylor are gonna eat that ass up 🙂

    Keri should win both catergories ! ! ! ! ! 🙂

  27. Jellybeansheen December 3, 2009

First of all, why haven’t yall mentioned Pleasure P’s unGodly lust for children!?… and then seeing as though u didnt mention it, y is this perverted ass fool nominated for a Grammy?! unbelievable !!! i am completely disgusted. #sidenote> BEY = LIFE!!!

  28. STR888 December 3, 2009

    WTF!!!!!!

Best Female R&B Vocal Performance?! Beyoncé – “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)”?!

that song is the only song in that catergory that is NOT a R&B song.

    why is it nomminated?!

she only ever does 1 or 2 REAL r&b songs on her albums the rest is R&B which is

WATERED DOWN with pop so that the pop radio stations will play it.

  29. Dawon December 3, 2009

I see a couple of Beyonce haters in here!!! HA HA HA!!!! 10 nominations baby!!! QUEEN BEY IS ABOUT TO STING ONCE AGAIN!!!!!

DID SOMEONE SAY KERI HILSON WAS GONNA WIN A GRAMMY????!?!!?!? LMAO! THAT’S THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!!!

  30. AC December 3, 2009

I cannot believe Beyonce has 10 nominations. She is not that good. Her album is good but there’s nothing great or outstanding about it. Its got its good tracks (which are sparse) and its bad tracks…and there is nothing special about Single Ladies.

Congrats to Lady GaGa! Am also happy to see P!nk is being given the recognition she deserves.

  31. dillpickle December 3, 2009

Politics…..that is what the Grammy’s are about these days.

  32. HEALTHY BLACK QUEENS December 3, 2009

Taylor Swift will win most if not all of her categories, so that’ll be one boring ceremony. She didn’t get nominated this much before Kanye messed things up. The way his outburst has been used to push Taylor is disgusting. Even the country awards brought it up 1-2 months later, like it was REALLY that serious.

  33. d December 3, 2009

chrisette got #1 but grammy gives ciara the recognition lmao

beyonce got 10 she will get all the urban categories. taylor will get everything else…as usual

    gaga may get 1

  34. john December 3, 2009

    ^co-sign

  35. Loved December 3, 2009

U go Kelly Rowland!!!! she really gonna bring it next year so I hope everyone is ready!!

  36. December 3, 2009

The Beyonce love is disgusting. She shouldn’t have gotten half of those nominations. Thrilled with Maxwell — that album was my album of the year. I hope John Legend, Jazmine Sullivan, Musiq, Calvin Richardson, and Melanie Fiona pick up a statue, too.

  37. Qc December 3, 2009

WOOT WOOT! GET EM CICI! 😀

  38. ladylove December 3, 2009

letoya had the best cd of the year and has no nominations smh…keyshia cole should have been nominated also.

i hope q-tip and melanie fiona win

  39. Dom December 3, 2009

Im sorry, but who the f is taylor swift? All i know is that kanye put that girl in her place, lol

how the f can ppl b debatin on why beyonce gt 10 noms, and say gaga n taylor shuda gt more? R u crazy? Beyonce sings the hell outta halo! Buy the dvd if u dnt believe me u deaf fools.

  40. LeShae December 3, 2009

If Beyonce win album of the year, i’ll be all around the blogs, just havin a ball reading everyone’s reactions!!! Sigh, gotta love the Grammy’s…

either eminem of q-tip might get the award for best rap album. I just can’t see that for flo-rida, heck no, definetly not!

  41. uwysh December 3, 2009

I guess some people still want to be behind Keri. Come on now people, lets be realistic. This is not the BET or Soul Train Awards. This is the GRAMMYS; the Oscars of music. If you think Keri will actually win at this stage of her career, given who she’s up against in both categories, you’re a fool. When you have a messed up personality like Keri, you don’t deserve to be rewarded with such an achievement. She needs to clean that nasty attitude up before I will support her. As for Beyonce, you haters will just have to continue to hate, because the more you do, the most successful she becomes. Of course it makes you mad that she is once again the lady of the night on the music industry’s biggest night. I expect her to snag at least 3 of the 10 she’s nominated for. As for Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Jazmine Sullivan, Maxwell, Ledisi, Jay-Z, Drake, Black Eyed Peas, and even Kelly Rowland, their nominations were much deserved.

  42. Jweezy December 3, 2009

The Grammys are a f***** joke…..Artists like Diana Ross have never won any, but Beyonce gets 10 noms? And what the f*** does Taylor Swift do to get 8? Up until the VMAs half of america didnt know who she was.

  43. Jweezy December 3, 2009

And also…I understand what Kanye did was wrong, but get the f*** over it already.

  44. DOM December 3, 2009

Up until the VMAs half of america didnt know who she was.

  45. SWAGGEDUPSTUD December 3, 2009

HAHA THAT BEYONCE RAIN JUS WONT LET UP….

CONGRADULATIONS QUEEN BEYONCE, SHE IS GONNA WIN EVERY SINGLE AWARD SHE DESERVES IT SHE IS THE BEST EVER AND I ADORE AND LOVE HER MUSIC…

    ALL HAIL THE QUEEN BEYONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 NOMINATIONS HAHA HI HATERZ DA QUEEN IS N THE MUTHAFUGGIN BUILDING.

  46. IndyMusicMogul December 4, 2009

In Shock that the Academy snubbed Whitney Houston who has sold more than 1 million units in three months in the US alone. She had an all-star cast of writers and producers and the album is well executed and inspiring. This is an indicator that the Grammys is falling off its mark of recognizing and rewarding true musical genius. There are so many nominees only known for their gimmicks and no real talent. I just cannot watch this show in January. Hopefully ABC was rerun the Whitney and Oprah interview opposite the Grammys. Whitney is a legend and does not deserve this kind of disrespect.

  47. Thow315 December 5, 2009

Umm Im not the biggest Swift fan but yall need to research a bit, black people just discovered taylor swift but the chick had the number one album in the country for hella long before the VMA incident..just because black people only listen to beyonce doesnt mean we make up the whole universe lol there are other artists in this country and country singers prolly have the largest following out of any genre of music, them rednecks have been supporting Swift for a while now..she derserves every nomination she has and not thanks to kanye, kanye just told us about her and i doubt we bought anymore of her cds..this awards show is based on her cd sales and attention she received last year not what Kanye did a couple of months ago…

  48. Bobby D December 5, 2009

    THE GRAMMYS ARE B*******.

    RIGGED.

    BOYCOTT THE GRAMMYS.

SERIOUSLY, LOOK AT SOME OF THESE NOMINEES AND THEN LOOK AT WHO WASNT NOMINATED. THIS IS SOME PURE B*******.

  49. NIQUE December 7, 2009

That Beyonce reign jus won’t let up…..lmao hop she wins all

  50. JMEEZY December 8, 2009

JWEEZY actually Taylor Swift has been the best selling female artist since 2008 so apparently people knew who she was BEFORE the Kanye West thing. And you dont have to take me word for it. Look it up on Soundscan and Billboard. She had not 1 but TWO albums on the year ends top 10 Best Sellers chart. Fearless was at #3 with almost 3mill sold and her debut was at #6 with almost 2 mill sold. Beyonce was the only other female on the chart and she as at #10 with a lil over a mill sold. Taylor had also wracked up at the Country Music Awards winning awards such as the Horizon Award. And all of this was in 2008. The Kanye thing happened September 2009. She was well known already. Its just she wasnt well known in Urban markets until Kanye. Beyonce’s album probably wouldve sold better had she not released every single but she did and thats why it didnt sell 5 or more like most would say it shouldve. But 10 NOMINATIONS? No sir/ma’am. The only thing as far as Single Ladies ppl were even really checking was the video so if anything it shudsa gotten Best Short Form Video..not R&B this and that. And then the song isnt even R&B. Urban/Alternative is more like it. And um sayin this as a fan of her. And congrats to Kelly Rowland. Although GaGa will kick her tush I applaud her for the simple fact that she got her noms after being from under Matthew’s management which I hope will shut ppl up for saying she will be nothing without him. So far she has had a #1 single in 10 countries as well as sold out city tours with David Guetta and has even broken a few overseas records…something she didnt do before leaving Matthew and company. So go Kelly. I’m read for 2011 ones tho. Bump these they f’ed up BIG TIME

  51. Joe December 10, 2009

LOL @ THE PEOPLE WHO THINK THE GRAMMY’S ARE NO LONGER CREDITABLE BECAUSE BEYONCE RECIEVED 10 NODS! @STR88 SINGLES LADIES HAS A NOD FOR VOCAL R&B IS BECAUSE IF U LISTEN TO THE SONG ACAPELLA BEYONCE IS DOING A DAMN 5 PART VOCAL HARMONY BY HERSELF!…

JUST BECAUSE UR FAVORITE ARTIST DIDNT GET A NOD OR UR UPSET SET BECAUSE BEYONCE GOT 10 NODS IT JUST MEANS THAT UR FAVORITE NEEDS TO STEP THIER GAME UP….

AS FAR AS WHITNEY GOES LETS BE REAL SHE ISNT THE “VOICE” ANYMORE….

  52. mh December 25, 2009

The music business isn’t the same any more.

  53. dportugues January 9, 2010

You guys can keep fighting about who will win album of the year.
What is really going to happen… beyonce will NOT win nor taylor swift or lady ga ga
