R&B veteran R. Kelly was interviewed by Skee TV recently and took a moment to address his detractors – seemingly taking particular aim at Trey Songz, who slammed him earlier this year. Say what you want about Kellz, but…really…Trey Songz?!
I mean,yes, this did come across like one big self-endorsement. Yet, in saying that, he wasn’t lying about anything now, was he?

i agree with R. Kelly and pedophilia allegations aside, this dude is a legend and still made music regardless of his issues. trey songz needs to recognize that he’s still new to the game and at any second can be put out the game by the next hot artist. it’s cool to be confident and even cocky to hold on to your spot, but never bite the hands that fed you. without people like R. Kelly, Avant, Chico Debarge, Johnny Gill, Keith Sweat and more, there would be no trey, Usher, Omarion, Chris Brown….none of them. Take it from someone who’s old enough to see the legends be made, and young enough to see the new ones coming up.

Michael Jackson was a much greater legend and artist than this man could EVER hope to be. He was accused FALSELY of child molestation by people who were proven to be greedy-ass lying extortionists, and the last 15 years of his life was subsequently ruined. He was relentlessly and heartlessly vilified and humiliated by the media and the public without a single shred of evidence to prove the allegations to be true until he ultimately died.
