Check out this new commercial for Omarion‘s forthcoming LP ‘Ollusion’, which had me cracking up for a number of reasons. First and foremost, I never knew ‘Ollusion’ was ‘most anticipated’…hell I struggle to remember it’s even coming out! (“Not being a cow…I’m just saying”). What’s more hilarious was the fact Omari was doing the voice-over himself! All-in-all, this one provided a much needed laugh on this cold a** Sunday here in London town.
Jokes asides, I must commend Omari for grinding hard for success (I’m assuming he commissioned this ad himself). His label don’t seem to be doing much of anything with his project and, as they say, if you don’t talk yourself up, who else will? That said, there is the potential to go overboard and be somewhat premature with the ‘Omarion this unstoppable force’ aura this commercial was giving off. I mean, truth be told, beside ‘O’ and ‘Ice Box’, I’d argue Omarion is still largely known for his work in B2K – and we all know how relevant they are now. In any case, “fake it till you make it”…best of luck to him.

I never have bought an Omarion album and probably never will but I’m sure someone will appreciate his music .

You cannot have a number 1 album on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. That is for songs and singles, which none of his ever went anywhere near number 1 on the Hot 100. The Billboard 200 is the chart that charts album positions.

hate to say it but when u do real heavy research( don’t wiki i mean interviews on websites & watch the vid when he kuts his hair). O has 2 platinum records & Face-Off went gold. No matter what we say know 1 cares about our opinons. What people think about an artist the person could care less 4 blog sites puttin them done. Just more publicity. I personally am gonna buy this album. Because I am a fan heard a few of the songs and its poppin. O has 2 #1 records lol. If its hot 100 or 200 or watever. Well I certainly wasn’t convinced, as I’m not a fan of his myself. But after that “number 1 album on Billboard Hot 100” mistake, I’ve come to the conclusion that this commercial is quite ghetto. :-/
@The Truth I think its called “OLLUSION” because his name starts with a O. I don’t think it was a mistake. I’m sure they know how to spell “ILLUSION” if that was their intent to name it that. But lets be real, nobody anticipating this album one bit.

Well I will be getting the album…I have love Omarion since B2K days and I do have all his albums. The AD could of been better but hey its something, he doing promotion that no one else is going to give him. Why not build yourself up? Omarion has did a lot with album sale and singles on the chart, he has did more then some artist.
