New Video: Alexandra Burke – ‘Broken Heels’

Published: Friday 11th Dec 2009 by Sam

The video for Alexandra Burke‘s latest single ‘Broken Heels’ premiered a few moments ago. Shot in the Los Angeles last month, the Frank Gatson (Beyonce) choreographed clip unsurprisingly has a distinct US feel and polish to it which is most definitely a good look. Speaking of ‘good looks’, Alexandra looked great and moved even better – she was working that choreography!

Having not been sold on the song, and admittedly still not being its biggest supporter, I find myself liking it a whole lot better after watching this – a testament to how good this clip is. Gwan Alex! LOL

What do you think of the song?

Yeah I read a article where Alex said that Beyonce let her use Frank and It was a good look because she did great.

ok first time hearing this song and like it…dnt follow alex much but i am not gonna do it..i am going to get her album..this girl has so much potential..she can dance, sing and is pretty..man they just need to market her properly..why has she not been promoted in the states??? what are they waiting for???

yea she said that Beyonce told her that she will personally help her with her career moving forward, and then Beyonce talked to her label peoples and told them to work with her, because she has potential and is going to be a star. she obviously held true to her word, because we all know Bee dont let no one use Frank, so thats a good look. One of the Many reasons i fux wit Bee because she is so humble, and dont mind helping a young woman trying to make it in the industry.

It was cute. I wish Frank didn’t use some of the “Beyonce” moves in the video tho. Create a new style for Alex.

Did anyone else notice that her her outfits have two different numbers on them. Since it was supposed to be a uniform, seems like both would’ve had just one number.

Yeah I noticed the two different numbers on th uniform. But this is an amazing video! The choreography is hot and the whole quality of the video is perfect. Definetly a step up form Bad Boys. And I LOVE Beyonce for helping alex with her career. She’s a real star!

Are you joking? Beyonce didnt let anyone help this girl, Beyonce doesnt control anything, it is her label, do you really think Beyonce can have an exclusive coreographer? for f*** sake, get some knowlege

IDK Im still scratchng my head after watching this video…i like that the concept is orginal and the video is of a good quality but i can’t help but feel lke something is either too much or that something is missing….Anyway good luck to Alex =D

The song is kind of tacky, but the video is pretty good. I think it fits the song well. I agree with Bobs, Sam will have nothing to say about Chris Brown’s album flop at 90k when his last sold almost 300k. Rated R sold 180k, double of what Chris did, and Sam easily voiced his dissatisfied opinion on that. Rihanna takes round 1 and round 2, better first week sales, and higher charting single.

hmm….it’s alright..would have expected her to come stronger and classier than this..reminds me of Beyonce’s dance moves…which we all know she used the same choreo…but…can these new artists please stop with the Beyonce worship…just be yourself..it’s aggravating…this style don’t fit her…goodness gracious..not another slutty video please…

It was my first time hearing the song, i anticipated the video all due to choreography…it was nice!!!!!! go Burke. (and its not a beyonce worship…jux read that…lame)

Still not a super fan of the track BUT i understand the direction the label and Alex are going for.

Next single defo gonna be a ballad. I’m liking the format of up-tempo’s 1st, then a strong vocalled song as the next one.

Video had a nice touch especially as NFL matches come to the UK as well now….
    Good Divalicious Job Alexandra
