The video for Omarion’s latest single ‘Hoodie’ premièred a few moments ago. Said to be dedicated to the King of Pop Michael Jackson, the clip isn’t bad at all. We oft have much to say about Omarion, but there’s no denying he’s a ridiculously talented dancer – a fact really driven home even more so in this video. Also worth a mention is how much I’m liking the overall visual of the video; the gritty, cinematic-like feel he evidently was going for, really works.
That said, I can’t say the song or the way Omarion’s been ‘singing’ as of late (talk-rapping with an awkward vocoder effect) really move me in anyway. It’s as if there’s this wealth of potential with Omari, yet he never quite gets it right.
In any case, his new LP ‘Ollusion’ hits stores January 12th 2010.

LMAO!!! …….anyway, i’m not really feeling the song, the video was cute though. i wouldn’t call him “the best dancer around” though, i think chris brown still holds that title. Omarion just doesn’t have that appeal since B2K broke up maybe there should be a B2K reunion in the works (not saying that any one would care though) lol

I think O is the best dancer out there right now. His moves are both smooth and controlled, and he always comes with something new. His choreography is on point, and it never looks like he`s trying TOO hard. I think he could put on an amazing show, but this “singing” s***…

The video is okay, the song is horrible. In fact the video would be 10x better if the song was at least “LISTENABLE” (if thats a word). That whole rapping/talking/low voice singing stuff isn’t working for me. The first single I was like okay, but for the follow up NO SIR. If his whole CD is this way it will be sooooo WHACK!!! What happened to REAL R&B singers???? Omarion please stop this madness. Go back to making songs like “O’ and “Icebox” It’s getting me upset as I type! LOL. Sidenote: I initially thought that was just a random girl in the video, but someone said that it was his mother, if so she looks very good for her age! That’s Awesome! Also his jeans are a WEE-BIT too tight to me. And also Omarion is a great dancer but Chris Brown entertains better because he dances with way more energy!
