  6. john January 7, 2010

This is a good choice. I love this song and her vocals. The lyrics are mature and speaks to love, right in time for Valentines Day. This should fit in right at urban a/c and hopefully urban will be behind it to.
whitney is naturally beautiful, has a beautiful smile and that ‘it’ factor so a beautiful video with a story line should accompany it- please, please arista, get Melina to direct the video again- she did a great job with million dollar bill.

WTF: Whitney is on Arista/Sony/RcA/BMG- they are all the same

Sam: For the Lovers- I LOVE< LOVE this song expecially the urgency of her adlips…'so throw your hands up, for the next 3 minutes, it's about the lover' this has GOT to be the UK/international release. What's with all the scoops @thatgrapejuice? How you doin'!

  7. Imyourstar702 January 7, 2010

THANK GOD! I love this song! Get it Whitney! #1 Single right here!

  14. Love WI January 7, 2010

I LOVE Worth It even though I want Call You Tonight released. But anyway it has a great hook and it’s a definitely R&B hit. Let’s hope it successfully crossover to pop and gives her some nominations.

  15. firey January 7, 2010

All we need is a hot remix and this song will be FIRE!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Soblessed January 7, 2010

This is my favorite song on the whole CD. Killer vibrato and emoting goin’ on. No one does it like Whitney. No one.

  17. TRUTH January 7, 2010

THEY BETTA KEEP MELINA MATSOUKAS AS VID DIRECTOR. SHE’S BEEN ON POINT SO FAR ON THE LAST 2 VIDS. DONT LIKE THIS SONG, I LIKE FTL BETTER. EITHER THAT OR CYT WILL BE NEXT SINGLE ANYWAY. SALUT IS TOTALLY URBAN AND SHOULD BE LAST SINGLE.

  18. Miguel January 7, 2010

This song will definitely be a hit. Lets all go out and request on radio and download or purchase….We can do this for Whitney

  19. rnbboy January 7, 2010

I love it – but I love all the songs on the album – lets hope we get some classy remixes too and a HOT video!!!

    Go Whitney!!

  20. TRUTH January 7, 2010

NEEDS A CONTEMPORARY REMIX AND HARDER BEAT, VOCALS. THAT WOULD WORK FOR URBAN RADIO, CONTEMPORARY RNB. TRACK AS IS FOR AC MARKET.

  21. kapyophi January 7, 2010

This is it folks! THIS IS her #1 song from this CD!
    Its soooooo my favorite!
Come on Video !!!! and Radio!
    Lets get behind this!!!!!!

  22. Singer Songwriter January 7, 2010

  24. Chris January 7, 2010

@WTF Whitney’s is Arista Records…… I’m excited about the single and to see another video! Hopefully this will be a #1 hit in the new decade!

  25. Rob January 7, 2010

I like the song, it could be a huge hit, but she needs to promote it… I was cheering for For The Lover and I didnt know my own strenght…

  26. WTF January 7, 2010

    @CHRIS THANKS..

  27. KIM January 7, 2010

The song is okay but I prefer Call Me Tonight. That and MDB are my favs. I like Whit’s whole album tho.

  28. KIM January 7, 2010

Damn, I meant Call You Tonight.. lol

  29. DANE January 7, 2010

Yes! It’s Great To See That My Prediction Came True!

I Had A Feeling That It Was The Next Single Because In October Richard Palmese Or Something Told It And Then Latered They Had Delayed It!

Thank You God! Now Lets Pray It Does Well!

  30. Boricua January 7, 2010

I like the song but Whit sounds all breathy and like she’s really trying to reach for notes which aren’t even that high… its distracting to me! lol

  31. 12345 January 7, 2010

I love Whitney but this song is one of her worst

  32. Erica January 7, 2010

@kim, we know what you meant…happens to all of us..lol.

This song is nice. She doesn’t overdo it , that’s what I like about her. She knows her boundaries.

  33. LatinNippy24 January 7, 2010

This song is absolutely FIRE! It’s one of my many favorites from the album, and a perfect choice with Valentine’s Day right around the corner. After this, they should release “Call You Tonight” (Spring), then “Nothin’ But Love” (Summer), then “I Got You” (Fall), and finally “Salute” (Winter). All of these have potential to be huge hits for Miss Houston.

  34. JUSTSANG71 January 7, 2010

GREAT CHOICE! I love this song. Whenever other people are in my car and I’m listening to this CD, the first thing they say is that this song would be a hit on radio. I agree. It’s very current and proves that she is not only relevant, but also current in her musical choices.

  35. TRUTH January 7, 2010

FYI, SINCE TRENT AND SAM AINT THAT FAST ON THE BALL (THO THEY THINK THEY ARE… LMAO!). RICHARD PALMESE OF SONY/ARISTA SAYS “WORTH IT” WILL HIT RADIO ADS ON FEB 1ST.

  36. musicbiz January 7, 2010

Arista, larry jackson o whoever from the label that Sam knows please release a physical single so this song can chart high fast and rehire Melina to direct- get whitney in lots of wardrobe changes with different weaves and a hot man and this song can be a hit- one of my favs of the album

  37. Mr.727 January 7, 2010

She don’t have the power like she used to, but she still sounds really good! I like this new voice of hers!! I’m so happy for her to be back, she need to show these young whoreS what it is to be THE Crem da’la crem !

    This song is hot!!

    I give it a B+

  38. Mr.727 January 7, 2010

    This is hot

  39. Alex January 7, 2010

This song is nice but I wouldve prefered ‘Salute’. That song is a SMASSSSSSSSH

  40. Jaz January 7, 2010

    YASSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

  41. number1k9 January 7, 2010

A remix suited for Hip Hop & R&B radio should feature Ludacris.

Then they should create a Dance Pop version for mainstream radio and possibly feature someone… It done correctly it wouldnt even need it.

    @number1k9

  42. rightround(U.S.A pride!) January 7, 2010

    i love this!!!!!!! go Whit!

  43. bobs January 8, 2010

Yeah I’m sure it’s gonna be a “smash” like the other two singles, that have yet to appear anywhere in the hot 100. She sounds like shes at least 110 years old here.

  44. Mariah Carey January 8, 2010

I personally LOVE THIS SONG. Don’t care what the haters say, cos Whitney is the greatest singer!!!!!!! And she sings live too!!!

  45. Aretha Franklin January 8, 2010

I love Worth It. It’s a great song. Whitney sings with soul and passion.

  46. Jennifer Hudson January 8, 2010

My favorite song is I Didn’t Know My Own Strength but I love Worth It too. What a great choice of song!!!!!

  47. Christina Aguilera January 8, 2010

” Remember who confirmed it first! ”

You really gotta stop doing this! I really begin to hate posts like this.
It’s about the news, but here it’s a half post about how exclusive and great TGJ is.

  52. Charlie Bradbury January 8, 2010

Search Charlie Bradbury on facebook and go to the fanpage for the latest celeb news and gossip. People are calling him ‘The New Perez’ check him out! 🙂

  53. Draco Maldito January 8, 2010

    Yeah! you go mah Whitney!
I know “Salute” will make it big in the future!

  54. Bobby D January 9, 2010

Song will be a smash on radio.

Cant shake the feeling that this is like a mix between Mariah Carey’s Bye Bye (as the part of the song “this is for my peoples who just lost somebody” in Mariah’s version sounds remarkably similar to when the instrumentation drops and its just the vocals and beat during whitneys version saying “this is for the lovers holding hands in the car.” In fact, the tempo and pace and vocal arrangement is terribly similar to “Bye Bye”. And the overall feel i take away from the song is something remniscent of the “We Belong Together” phenominon for Mariah.

It brought Mariah back to the TOP, and I think this song has the potential to do the exact same for Whitney.

    Good job!

  55. DANE January 12, 2010

Remember This Is The Next Single And Will Be Released On Feb. 1st, But Only In The U.S., So If You Love This Song Request It At Your Local Music Station

BAD CHOICE! There are so many good songs on this album (for the lovers, Nothing but love, Call you tonight) but this is one of the worst! I doubt it will ever be a hit…

  58. Coletta Callicott August 26, 2011
