The video for the Sugababes latest single ‘Wear My Kiss’, from their serially delayed ‘Sweet 7’ LP premiered today on T4.
Where to begin?! Clearly their label (Island Records) are still pumping plenty £££ into this project, if this video is anything to go by. In as much as it pains to say, this is probably the group’s best video to date – and yes, I’m taking into account all line-ups. That said, I can’t help but feel the grandeur (see: special effects etc) was almost too much for the ladies. Amelle, though looking quite stunning, didn’t exude much ‘umph’, while Heidi…yeah. Jade’s laugh-out-loud hair aside, Ms. Ewen nailed it in this clip! From the sass in her delivery of the choreography to her simultaneous meshing with and overshadowing of the other two members.
Oh, and the song isn’t half bad either.

I love Jade. I didn’t even like the Sugababes before she joined but it’s rare to see a girl in a girl group nowadays who can actually belt! Actually, why are the other two even allowed to sing? They should make it like the Pussycat Dolls, where the one who can actually sing, sings, while the others sit down and shut the hell up
what i dont get is why TGJ (in this case Sam) is so far up DefJam/Island Records backside! Your always bigging up their artists. Anyone with any sense can see that this is a pile of garbage. this just goes to show that Keisha Buchanan was the heart of the group. They worked with some of the biggest producers/songwriters but still couldn’t get aa number 1. and now they’ve released a sub-par trashy electropop song (a sound that was so 2009) with a crap and cheap greenscreen video that adds little to the song. This is the start of the end for the sugababes, they should have gone away and worked on a new sound.
TGJ is starting to sound really disjointed and inconsistant. By the way not that i challenged TGJ about the rumours they posted about JLo dropping Louboutins and they have yet to comment. Well all I can say if you think this is their best video then you really dont know the group and have defo sold out to commercialism like they did.
Even though this is just an unfinished version it looks HOT!
Ash jones i agree TGJ has lost what it had before but saying they love def jam artists is unfair they hate rihanna loool and aren’t feeling mariah’s new stuff either… but your founding statement about biased things is right, this used to be a site where you got genune opinions without personal vendetta’s (rihanna supposedly ruining chris’ career and y’all know how those guys feel about chris)
Oh forgot to say earlier, though the video is cute and song crap yadda yadda i can’t help but think this is real contrived these girls don’t genuinely like each other or gel to well together at all…. but still have to say big up to lisa left eye lopez that inspired jade’s cute look!

Saying that this stone cold mess of a clip is better than Run For Cover, Freak Like Me, Hole In The Head, Push The Button or Denial’s videos is serious sacrilege!
how can u say this is there best video , its a cgi fool , and im not feeling jade thinking she is in dragon ball z ,.They dont mesh as a group live or on camera and it has become apparent that their music no longer has any substance. the beats arent even that good for the melodies n lyrics to be this poor . I never liked Amelle but the devil really joined this group and has become its downfall.

The Sugababes need Keisha and Jade was so much better as a solo artist.
It’s just not the same, jade has a good voice & can dance but her voice is no match for Keisha, her voice had a depth & you when compare the songs you hear the change in the sound of the group. I think they should just give it up now
if they change the name and started a new group it would be cool instead they rushing out to make this work, think about it legally it’s not like they can do concert and sing overload when it not there song, they weren’t part of the group they didn’t make that song a number one hit.
If you’re a fan & are supporting this group then you’re just support a manufacture group who are controlled by management who can pick & choose members at random, you’re supporting a group based on looks over talent. A like Meundo who change members based on there age ricky martin was a member. That is the kind of group your supporting.

I really think they should try this song in the states! But spike up the video a bit. They need to over do the moves…they could be really good! And having group members who cant sing is not a new thing! See Destinys Child, PCD, TLC, Danity Kane..etc etc….but they all had alot of strengths as well as this group does…..They just need the right team behind them….With more work they could be the next big thing!

The Sugababes are and always will be great. Amelle for sure makes the group for me. She replaced Mutya so well! They didn’t have a number 1 until Heidi came in the group, and if you ask me, Keisha chased Siobhan out of the group so it’s best that she left. Sugababes are a brand. All girl groups should be because you can’t keep them together lol!! Imagine if they replaced Ginger in the Spice Girls!! They might still be around… maybe that’s a bad analogy but I’m just pointing out the Sugababes are amazing and I’m ready for them to come to America with this new sound and new line up! GET S*** RIGHT NOW!!!
