Janet Jackson has being remaining under the radar while recording her next studio album. However, that’s not the only project that the icon has in the works. Jackson and her former boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, have recorded the theme song for her new film, ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?’. Dupri confirms that the track, entitled ‘Nothing’, was co-produced by Bryan-Michael Cox. ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?’ hits the big screen on April 2nd. {Source}
Jackson seems to be gearing up to take 2010 by storm. With a new album, movie and theme song, all this activity is reminiscent of the impact she had with the ‘All For You’ LP and the ‘Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps’ film. Coincidentally, after hearing the direction she plans to take with this record, I expect the new album to sound a lot ‘All For You’ which was packed with several up-tempo, ‘fun’ tracks. It’s exciting to see how this will all turn out!

I wouldn’t prematurely analyze the album yet. Just because she said light doesnt mean it’ll just be club tracks without meaning.

Janet, JD & B.C**? This should be rather interesting to hear. I have faith that they really believe in this record and truly put great thought into the process when creating it. I’m very anxious to hear this, for some reason I feel like I’m going to be pleasantly pleased.
Not really, she said on her interview with Robin Willams that at times, tracks may be a little heavy -_- Remember she sings about how she feels, n even though she is busying herself work, she still lost her brother =/

No I think this album will sound more like The Velvet Rope, Janet has had a very sad year last year and she was depressed when TVR was released so I think if the new album is going to sound like anything it will be The Velvet Rope, either way I love both albums !!!

Janet fans are going to be soon disappointed when they learn that the “nothing” track Janet recorded will not after all be included in the ‘Why did I get Married Soundtrack”
It has been pulled because they felt the track should have not been rushed, vocally it was not performed all that well as they wanted.
As the movie draws closer for release it would be made public on Janet websites across the world.
Janet Has finished recorded for her next album though and tracks are currently being mixed for final selection for the 15 song cd.
