Well I am a Big Brandy fan but have always supported Monica because she has always given quality music….but in this day in age…….people need a lot more than 10 tracks….this did seem very ballad heavy but I too will reserve my judgement until the officially release. I have all of Mo’s albums so I will be getting this one:)

Loves it! WIll def be supporting Mo. This album is def a winner and for all those complaining about the ten tracks, that was a label decision. Mo wanted more but they only allowed her 10 with a bonus I think. But I would rather 10 quality songs then a 15 plus album of garbage. That seems to be dominating these days. But true R&B is coming back and people are eating it up. Let’s get it Mo!

I love the album. I am a monica fan from way back in the day though and feel this album will be one of her bests, even though it is VERY hard to compete with Miss Thang and The Boy is Mine. I am not really feeling Stay or Go and One in a Lifetime though. Some people think tose are the best tracks on the album but to each his own I guess. I’m just glad to see and hear what I do. I been waiting a while for this.

When I listen to old school Monica I’m feelin it, y’know it got that vibe. I know that was a while ago but that is Monica to me. These last couple releases sound like they coming from backup singer #6 doing generic R&B filler. It’s like Monica trying to stay relevant by conforming to these Ne-Yo style tracks but it’s not what she’s known for or good at.
I’m loving what I hear! I def will be buying the album, I think If U Were My Man should be switched with All I Know Is Me! But other than that I’m loving it!

Brandy & Monica debate is so old…its childish! Monica & Brandy should be treated like R&B royalty..they have been in the game a long time. I wish our people would support them like how others did w/ Britney Spears & her trainwreck spiral. Her non-singing b*** outsells both Brandy & Monica combined…goes to show selling millions means jack when it comes to vocal ability. A straight classic album from start to finish.
MY single choices would be:
“Everything to Me”-it released at the end of January and it was for Valentine’s Day. Good songs for this time of year.
“Love All Over Me”-should be released the week the album comes out because it’s that perfect springtime ballad like “Angel of Mine” was back in 99.
“Mirror”-should be released that June/July because it sounds like a summer single.
“Stay Or Go”-It could see this song being released in September. At the end of the summer and the beginning of the fall.
“Here I Am” should be the released in November. The final single from the album. Sounds like a wintertime song.
Thumbs up! I’ll be buying this album. I definitely adore both her buzz single Standing Still and her first single Everything To Me. It’s great to hear quality R&B music, because nowadays it’s rare to hear quality R&B on the radio, thanks God for artist like Monica, Brandy, Beyonce, Fantasia, Alicia Keys, etc…
I love it, even from the snippets. I can’t wait till March 23rd, i’ll be one of the first @ the record stores.
