New Video: Ludacris -‘My Chick Bad (Remix) (ft. Trina, Eve, Nicki Minaj, Diamond)’

Published: Friday 26th Mar 2010 by Sam

The video for the remix of Ludacris‘ hit ‘My Chick Bad’ premiered a few moments ago. Featuring an all-female supporting line-up, consisting of Trina, Eve, Nicki Minaj, and Diamond, the TAJ-directed clip is actually pretty good – with each of the ladies looking on-poiny. Check it out above…

‘My Chick Bad’ is lifted from Luda’s new LP ‘Battle of the Sexes’, which is out now!

What a hot mess! lol Did they know that the camera turned on and they were actually filming? Cause everyone looking tired as hell. They barely dancing. I know the video was low buget but damn they could have played with the sets alot more than what they did. Its just boring. Eve had the best verse on this thing and she shut it down in the video. I guess good effort

But I stand by my word that if Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, and Missy Elliot was in this song dey would have shut it doooooooown! lol

It was entertaining. I was waiting for Nicki to say something but I was kinda disappointed. Their verses were kinda whack too but then again so is the song. Love Luda though.

WOW that was pretty bad… There was no energy, none of the women had any attitude. I just don’t understand what is going on with music videos. I remember when people use to put way more thought, energy and passion into their work. Diamond was stiff, Trina cannot dance, Eve just stood there. I understand people are feeling Niki Minaj but why was she there, she brought nothing to the video. These artist need to hear stuff like this the song is fire but the video was luke warm. I expected so much more especially with each woman claiming to be a hot B*&**h.

    @Tru_Charm

Exactly. People dont make great videos anymore.

But I still love my Luda though…

Its basically about ‘status’ these days. Opposed to consistent talent.
I think that they predicted that this song would get more air time if they had the right mesh up of women because of what the song’s promoting….

    But there’s no energy.
Well, at least Luda’s crossed back into his dirty roots.
He’s a lot more creative when he talks about s**, I noticed.

In regards to why Nicki is there…let’s take a second to think about it. In the group shots where all of them are together, they are all wearing the same clothes as they were at the end of the original version of the video. So Nicki is probably in the shots because they shot both videos around the same time, probably back to back.

Eve was wack and showed no passion–she looked like a fool with her leg up on the chair and with the blank expression on her face. Well, at least the weave is working for her.

Trina looked good, but her verse could have been a little more aggressive. I think Diamond was ok, considering the fact that this is really the first time she’s had any real shine since Crime Mob.

But, as a whole, I don’t think any of them showed why they are so “bad”, like the song alludes to. I agree that Luda should have reached out to the veterans of female hiphop like Missy, Lil’ Kim and Foxy, cuz we all know they would have proven just how bad they are, and this would have been great exposure for them.

In regards to Luda, I must say, this is the first cd of his that i’ve purchased since “Red Light District”. His last few cds were garbage and forgettable. “Theatre of the Mind” was horrid.

I Will say this Everybody played their part, even though I was not a fan of how lazy it was.

Secondly when do Rap Females Dance Other Then Missy.

Eve- Always had the best part to me from the Jump to the End We all Know this.

Yaw should be like damn this is a good collaboration, when do we see female rappers On one same set together Often.
