Hmm. In keeping it 100%, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t slightly disappointed with this one. After all, with the song being such a winner, as well as Ciara’s history with director Martel (‘Promise’, ‘Like A Boy’, ‘Love Sex, Magic’ videos), I felt a little short-changed with this one. Yes, Ms. Harris nailed the choreography, however besides that, the video was pretty standard (Ciara) fare. Unfortunate when considering the fact that she usually brings something new to the table both with the choreography and visually.
Still, not a ‘bad’ effort; and with the song being so strong, the 24 year old looks like she has a hit on her hands.
The haters should be getting real scared right abt now.

I really think the video was done well. It most def kept me entertained and that’s the point of a music video. I appreciated the fact that she was dancing the whole video by herself without back-up dancers. The choreo was nice and I truly believe she excecuted it well. Ciara has always had a hard a Tom-Boy swag with some s** appeal thrown in there. When I think about her first hit Goodies, she stood out because she wasn’t just a girl trying to be cute, it was clear she had a ruff side but she could dance her a** off. I have always enjoyed the way she can take what some may view as a “stripper” move or just a club dance and make it ok to do. And she pulls that off so well because she does have a Tom-Boy swag that doesn’t over sexualize it. Honestly, everyone will sit and watch Ciara dance her a** off FOREVER! She’s very talented. All she was doing was grinding but it was entertaining. Nobody else has her type of energy and delivery… and that’s why her videos are always hits.
With that said, i agree with Sam on that it did lack some things, visual and choreography wise(she is the reigning DANCE QUEEN for petes sake!). There was only 3 scenes in the whole 4 minute video! I know CiCi can come harder than this. But for now, I’ll enjoy this.
Same ol’ dance moves. I agree with part of what Sam said on this one. Ciara is a great dancer but I think the moves are repetitive and look like the same things I’ve seen her doing in several videos. The song is pretty good, probably an R&B hit but don’t see it putting much of dent on the Pop or Hot 100 charts like Ciara use to in the Goodies days.
