The full version of Christina Aguilera’s ‘Bionic’ has just surfaced. The song is the title track from her upcoming LP which hits stores on June 8th. Give ‘Bionic’ a listen below:
‘Bionic’ proves to be a respectable attempt by Aguilera to try something new. In fact, this is the only song that has emerged from her recent studio sessions that boasts the “futuristic” sound that she was aiming to achieve. However, it’s clear that she took a page from Santigold’s self-titled debut album because ‘Bionic’ sounds like it could have easily been a bonus track from that record. Either way, the wide range of tunes on Aguilera’s new album should guarantee that she attracts a variety of listeners and will probably give it legs on the charts.
Interesting. It does sound like it could have been on Santogold’s album. I have mixed feeling’s toward what she’s been putting out lately. IDK. I guess I’ll have to wait to see what she’ll be serving up this go round.

I like this song. I’m so tired of the copying argument. All Artist get inspiration from their peers. Look at Lady Gaga, she get inspired by Grace Jones. I like this soooooo much better than Not Myself Tonight! Does sound like NellyFurtado and Santigold but that is fine by me. This is still miles better than most of the stuff that is playing on the radio currently. Not sure if EVERYONE will like this sound but I do, it is sonically interesting.
My favorite part is “Are you ready to go” right before the chorus! Sounds cool, overall though.

so before people go saying xtina is swagger-jacking, think again. on this album, she worked with Sia, Le Tigre, M.I.A., Ladytron, Tricky, Switch and Santigold to make this album. she has a wide-range of input on the album, so there will be a wide range of sounds, all of which, though, are collaborative, as christina had a hand in everything.

Honestly, I really don’t give a s*** about this whole copying thing. All I know is that Christina has a great voice, she has already put so much at the table and that I just can’t wait for this album and the forthcoming tour! Concerning the track, I think it’s a really good one. First about the snippet I didn’t really like it but it absolutely is a potential grower. I love Not Myself Tonight and Woohoo as well, so I guess this album’s gonna be great!

Santigold is obviously one of Christina’s biggest inspirations for this track. I like it I guess, but I still can’t help but think Christina is ripping off everyone else’s music nowadays.
