Hip Hip is dead.. MTV called Drake the Taylor Swift of Rap.. I think he is more Pop but then again I am old school and I don’t consider half the music released today to be real Hip Hop.. If don’t knock Drake for making his money.. He is doing his thing However He Is Not Hip Hop. Not to bring race in but 80% of his fans are white kids. They can relate to him so he sells.I never hear his music on the radio in the hood( they don’t even talk about him). The reason why every producer , artist and everyone else wants to work with him is because he is a way to try to branch into the mainstream white market. Its a win win for them all. Will I buy it… I didn’t even download it when I got the link to download it for free. I lost interest… I Miss Hip Hop. What Good Is Music When You Have To Sell Your Soul To Be Successful.

Yes sir. Drakes album is truly music. It may not b old school a classic hip hop, but its hip hop that a general audience can receive and relate to. Definitely feeling the cd. Certain things are still growing on me. But all nd all its a great cd. Nice to hear someone be creative and inventive with hip hop.
