the pic was taken in 99 for his invincible album that he was working on at the time…invincible was supposed to be released in 1999 but it came out in 2001

I never understood why Invincible didn’t do better than it did. That had to be one of his best albums!!! I still listen to that album to this day!! It’s crazy…on the morning that God called Michael home, I was listening to that album. I kept playing the song Butterflies over and over because that was one of my favorite MJ songs of all time.
A few hours later I saw on a website that he was being rushed to the hospital. I ignored the “rumor” because I have always ignored rumors about Mikey. Then I get home from work and Im hearing the rumors more and more. Then my husband tells me he heard about it. Finally we hear that he was gone and my life has never been the same since.
Yes he is in a better place, but I still miss him. Michael has always been apart of my life. Even during all of his trials and tribulations I have always been loyal. Now he is gone and it is so devestating. It is also surprising to see how many people love him because I dont rememeber all of this outpouring years ago.

YASSS!!! Exactly!!! “Off the Wall” was the BEST!!!! Ironic that his first and last album was VERY underestimated and pretty much slept on. I mean they both sold well…especially Off The Wall. But, it did not get the credit it deserved. I think it was the Grammy’s that really was taking a dam NAP!!! That album deserved more than one Grammy.
U know what else is ironic? I can’t belive I didn’t realize this until now, but the mother of Jordan Chandler’s name was June and we lost Michael in June! Meeting Jordan Chandler was the beginning of the end for poor Michael. Sorry so negative, but It is that time of year that we celebrate Michael’s life because he is no longer here. 🙁
This is my theory, whenever MJ stepped out of the box that the media and the music industry wanted him to be in, than somehow his music didn’t sell as much. Look at Dangerous, that album was S***, from ITC, Dangerous. Ok, it sold more than 40 million records worldwide.Yet Thriller did better than that. Then MJ came at us with Invisible, and even he said Invisible was a better album. It’s all conspriacy. When MJ was playing the childlike peter pan, than the media loved him, but the minute, MJ started showing sexuality, sensuality, and being a grown man, than he didn’t sell as much. MJ said that he got tired of people thinking of him as a child, that he was an adult. So,they kept that asexual stigma on MJ, but in reality he was a deeply sexual man, that had s** appeal. And from the songs I’ve heard from the Invisible Album, MJ was s*** and a grown man. I love, Heaven Can Wait, that song was so beautiful. I would play that for my wedding. MJ was s*** on that. And Invisble, that was the jam, I love the collab between him and CT, in the video, MJ moves were s***. MJ was s***, but I think because he was conservative and conscious of his music affecting children, his mother religious background he didn’t want to go that out, and it paid off, he sold a billion records.
Personally, I feel that MJ was always s***, because those big dreamy eyes could melt your heart. And his mannerisms. MJ does look good on this photo. Remember the Bashir interview, MJ wasn’t bad looking on that. I think MJ may have looked better than we thought, because he took a picture at his family reunion and he looked normal. And maybe the make up artists didn’t do him justice. Anways, I will always remember MJ as a good looking man.
To the person U DoDo is stalking Ciara: First of all, Chris Brown not being able to sell records or get his albums promotied has nothing to do with the music industry trying to hold him back, like they did MJ. Chris Brown isn’t selling records and can’t get properly promoted because that child decided to beat up on his girlfriend, and the pictures of Rhianna was leaked. Noone wants to be associated with that. MJ there was allegations, Chris Brown actually did that and was convicted. Ciara can’t sell records because she can’t sell records.
And the whole thing with Grace Rwaramba, that is untrue. And she said that she didn’t pump his stomach, because she doesn’t know how to pump a stomach. And that interview was taken out of context, used to destroy MJ.
You have to blame Bashir then blame ABC for not airing the original version that MJ and his team video. Why not be upset with the hatchet job of editting?

Not that I ever care what entertainer’s sales are, I think it has no bearing on me as a fan how much they sell or how much money they make, all I care about is whether what they’re selling entertains me and is of good quality… but for the people who consider Invincible a failure…
Invincible sold 13 millions copies worldwide, going platinum in seven countries and double platinum in two. How many of the top artists of today ever manage to come close to selling 13 million of anything, even at the pinacle of their career?

I love this pictures and if this was ment for Invincible album too bad it wasn’t used for it. It looks very artistical, gorgeous and beautiful. Also, I have to agree with everyone who said that Invincible is very underrated album. Invincible is my favorite album by MJ, right after Dangerous; I wish it was more promoted, and Michael should release more singles/videos from the album. I am sure songs like Whatever Happens, Speechless, Break Of Down, Heaven Can Wait, Butterflies and Unbreakable would become international hits.
It’s hard to believe one year passed so fast by… I still miss Michael so strong, and … u know, someone once said that there are some moments in life when u realize that nothing will ever be the same. And time is divided into two parts, before this and after this. Michael’s death for me is one of the moments like this, sometimes it feels like everything is sadly different now.
