A great song and a lovely video too. It’s refreshing to see an artist who doesn’t take herself too seriously. These days where you have to kill everyone in a diner or swallow a rosary to sell records or get publicity, it’s just nice to see something different for a change. Katy did a great job bringing out Snoop’s playful side too. I’m glad she didn’t just make it a boring beach video with s*** girls.
the vid had its funny moments but apart from that the song is still crap

I’m a straight girl, and I would gladly lick whipped cream off her n*** body any day! I love this video, it’s fun and flirty and I love how she doesn’t take herself seriously at all.
As much I can agree and some times disagree with Sam, are you kidding me about this video being awesome? Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s cute but as critical as Sam can be with some of the heavyweights and their ‘predictable &bland’ videos, this doesn’t brand any sort of awesomeness at all. Like all the videos you’ve snubbed for being boring and nothing but a bunch of pretty girls dancing around, this is just that and then some.
It was quite entertaining, kinda reminds me of Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” video from the mid 90s. But it doesn’t quite scream California. I was thinking maybe a pop art style theme would suit better, like the backdrops from her Movie Awards performance. But I guess they were just trying to make it different.
Fergie’s “Fergalicious” did come to mind, but I did laugh when I saw the gummy bear.
