Awesome performances! After what was undeniably a shaky start for this project, performances like this reinforce why Aguilera is vocally a cut above the rest (a fact she herself should try and remember before shedding her clothes at every chance she gets).

Bionic/NMT was weak.
She struggled badly with Fighter but I’ll cut her a break since that stuff is recorded early in the morning but it doesn’t matter which performance of Fighter, for some reason Christina always skips out the big note.
Her voice sounds strained, so it’s obvious she needs some vocal rest because it was strained Oprah and on the MTV Movie Awards.
And her audience on the TS was so dead. RCA should have had her perform on GMA, where the is very lively and alive. Her audience were dead zombies.

As a fan this is the most concerning performance I’ve seen yet from her. She flopped on Not Myself Tonight before the second chorus and tried to lipsync the big note at the bridge. On Fighter her voice cracked like nothing when she tried to hit that one single note after avoiding the others. Her voice cracked all over Beautiful too. She’s too young for this to be happening to her!
At least she looked good…

I am a Christina fan, but I must admit her voice concerns me. Whether it’s the morning or the type of show or whatever, she doesn’t seem as strong. I might get a new stylist and throw away the theatrics since she doesn’t need them. Look good, move a little, have some nice staging and SING.
The new CD is alright, I think I was expecting more. More soul, more ballads, more typical Christina….Vanity/Glam/PrimaDonna are great workout songs.
