Pop collective JLS are set to release their self-titled US debut in less than two weeks time. Arriving in stores via their Stateside label Jive, the group’s US fans (if they have any at all) can get their hands on the LP on August 3rd.
With the Aston and co’s’ Stateside promo push yielding little of anything, it’ll be real interesting to see what first week numbers they do. As I’ve said many a time, JLS are getting away murder over here – something I can’t see the US taking to.
Tidbit: I still “can’t” with that album cover. Ortise..SMH..always doing too damn much.

Oh my god.. why are they releasing their album straight away 🙁 they’re signed to Jive! urgh they obviously don’t know what to do with JLS.. Ciara is also on Jive.. this doesn’t bode well for JLS.. 🙁

Jeez give them a break Sam, at least they are working…, we both know numbers are meaningless measures of talent so why even reference them? They’ve put the work in, you can’t hate on that if there was the same passion and workmanship in other up and coming acts they would be where the boys are. They can withstand a few weak vocal performances every now and then IMO, if they were marketed as the next BoyzIIMen I’d have issue but they are first and foremost a pop group so their talent-level is appropriate for that. Also, I know Oritse personally and he’s one of the most sincere, hard-working and genuinely giving of spirit people I’ve ever met. He crafted this group from scratch and if he puts a little extra into everything it’s because he wants it the most and is not complacent.

I disagree, I think Ortise and JB look ok on that pic but its Aston and Marvin giving me a bit too much zest lol

AUGUST 3 a quiet week I think Eminem will retrn to 1 in that week and iot makes no sense to delay an album’s release date if u relatively a new artist
