A previously unheard track from the legendary Lauryn Hill has surfaced on the web. There is not word as to whether the song, entitled ‘Repercussions’, is a new song or is just an unreleased track from previous studio sessions. Check it out below:

Classic Lauryn! I’m thinking this is a unreleased track, I mean right after the whole Niki comparisons? That just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hil is a masterpiece, a beautifully constructed LIE. Minaj can not compare….

wow… if you’ve never heard a Lauryn Hill song you need to get IN. It’s almost unbelievable.. I mean, the sheer fact that she has only released one album and is a LEGEND (almost an instant LEGEND) should have made you see what all the hype was about. The tone of her voice, rapping or singing, is so unique and has so much depth.
She also had songs with the Fugees and on a couple soundtracks that you can get into.
Anyway, I think the song is great! Not really hot enough to feature on her classic album, but very welcome as she’s been gone for 10+ years

I love this track.
I’m ashamed to admit, that it was only this year that I got into Ms. Hill, but within a couple of weeks of buying her album, she is now one of my favourite artists of all time. No one can write like her.

This is a nice song but lyrically not one of her strongest. It most definitely sounds like an old Miseducation era song.
I too was disgusted when that idiot made the Nicki/Lauryn comparison, it just shows how out of touch with real soul/RnB music they are.
For those who have never got into Lauryn Hill, it’s never too late. I hate it when people call her reclusive as she still makes music, just not the music to feed the music industry which wants her to compromise and commercialise. She also has raised 5 fine kids with Bob Marley’s son Rohan, so you can imagine how musically rich and lucky these kids are. She’s performing during Summer internationally, in Rwanda tonight.

Great Song, Classic Lauryn but this is definitely from TMOLH sessions.
Lauryn Hill is also a rapper who sings (hence her Fugees days) but just does it pretty good without needing autotune or studio enhancements.
that was a nice song, i miss hearing a track that takes me away. this year the music scene seems tobe blah nothing that’s out of this world, i really want Lauren to come back and make the wannabe rtists fall back into the holes that they came from.

you can tell from the lingo and the track that this is an old song. and that it wasnt fully mastered. it would have seemed out of place on the miseducation album. but it is still refreshing to listen to. Ms. Hill is missed.
