Video: Alesha Dixon Performs ‘Drummer Boy’ Live

Published: Saturday 31st Jul 2010 by Sam

R&B-Pop star Alesha Dixon hit the stage at Leeds’ ‘Party In The Park’ earlier today to perform new single ‘Drummer Boy’. Check out how the former Misteeq star fared – in what was her premiere live showing of the song – after the jump…

Rubbish.

Unfortunately for Dixon, the performance only served to highlight just how awful the song is (something the stone-cold audience seemed to agree with). A shame, as she’s legitimately talented – yet persists / insists on releasing dreadful material.

One can only hope Ms. Dixon’s  forthcoming ‘Unleashed’ LP redeemsher, as this is not the business…

  10. Nat July 31, 2010

common sense would tell u that the crowd weren’t ‘stone cold’, but for the performance playback crowd noise was muted and yu could only hear the backing track and her mic. My friend was there so i know this for sure!!

She’s very pretty, has great stage presence, and can dance, BUT HER VOICE IS AWFUL! WOW, IT’S A SHAME THAT SHE REALLY CAN’T SING! I mean, it’s not like she can wisper like Britney Spears and Janet Jackson and get away with it, her voice sounds like a dying cat. WTf was that mess of a song? All it sounded like was noise.
