The words ‘boring’, ‘cheap’, ‘it’s a wrap’, certainly come to mind when watching this. After the dismal performance of Aguilera’s ‘Bionic’ LP, this particular release had been hoped by many to be the project’s knight in shining armour. However, it’s estimated $15 production budget and uninspired concept, have no doubt sealed Aguilera’s fate – at least for this ‘era’. After all everything the video needed to be (see: epic, engaging), it wasn’t. A commendable effort, yet one which unfortunately likely spells the end of this campaign. On to the next one…

Th video is very simple… like her past “The Voice within”, “Save me from MySelf”. although I’m not liking it, it has the emotion she want to evoke… good job. but it could have been better IMO. & glad to hear the Album version YLM instead that radio mix.
This song is gorgeous…I love it!….but, I’m not a big fan of the video though. All in all, I just hope this record can save her album, because in my opinion “Bionic” was a great album. I just feel like RCA picked the wrong single to start off with. I just want my Christina to be great! 🙂

I’m not asking for high budget. You don’t need to be over the top to have a great video. All those distractions take away from what matters the most…the song…the emotion. I’m just saying, after watching it, I just wasn’t into it. No shade 🙂

She has a great voice and the song wasnt half bad but i think she should have

‘s** for breakfast’ is O.K but sadly Im not really feeling anything but ‘You Lost me’ & ‘IAM’ so IDK what her fans hear. Cause I hear a bunch of generic disposable rubbish on the vast majority of those songs. I doubt ‘You Lost me’ will save this album but we’ll see. She should be selling regardless but I guess she didnt leave as strong of a mark on the industry previously. I feel like it has nothing to do with single choice & all to do with her lacking in relevancy & taste.

This is yet another simple and plain video, like Mariah’s “H.A.T.E.U.”, that will get negative comments for not being too “special”… But these kind of songs go with that kind of videos… Strong emotional presence showing only the face of the performer and getting you through what they’re feeling inside…
And if one can’t connect to that (as most of the people today really don’t) then maybe there’s something wrong with you and your mind… As is the case with most of the people today in fact… So sad but maybe only 10 % of the world human population is really worth living… The rest is just a mindless consuming crowd…

I would have liked to see maybe nearing towards the end of the video Christina Aguilera cut off all of her hair, signifying a release of her anger toward the cheater and entering her ‘new life’ without him,

It turning out that, she was in fact an angel at the end of the video, and the since her man cheated on her it caused so much pain, that it eventually killed her.
I just think those two different ideas may have sent a strong message of the tune to its audience.

People continue to say about the singles selection during this CA era…
I think if radio didn’t boycott “NMT” which I still don’t understand why they did???? “NMT” would have easily became a Top 10 hit, I mean DLs alone it debuted at # 23, I believe. If it had radios push, moving up 13 more spots should have been cake for the style of song, and artist performing it (knowing her history with radio singles).
I think “YLM” is the best BALLAD from this album, personally so I agree if there was only 1 ballad to be released, this should have been it.
THAT BEING SAID, I still do wish they would have saved it for a late September/early October release.
AND release “Elastic Love,” “Desnudate,” or “Primma Donna” has the official 2nd single. Those have more of a summer, feel to them, and obv suited for clubs!

I don’t like YLM, so I won’t bother watching this snooze fest lol. The song is hella boring, so the video being the same is no surprise. With that being said, Christina and RCA should just wrap this project up, focus on her new film and get back in the studio to record a Pop/R&B album.

I think someone else said this, there are far worse songs and albums that have been released this year that saw more success than NMT and Bionic. Yet it’s Christina that everyone is piling on.
Either My Girls or Glam should’ve been the first single, with a creative video in which she isn’t so blatantly sexual and over-the-top. NMT is one of the worst songs on the album, and should have never seen the light of day. And just because Lady Gaga is doing electro-pop, doesn’t mean that no one else should. I mean, California Gurls is a blatant ripoff of Tik-Tok, and it’s been #1 for six weeks. So it’s not like everyone is that concerned with originality these days
Bionic is a hit-and-miss album. Yes, it has some cringe-worthy songs, but it also has some really, REALLY good ones. And not just ballads, I mean some fiery, club singles that would’ve burnt up the charts had people heard them first.
i tried to like this song. i am still trying. christina you have sooo much talent you really need better people. somebody needs to give you a reality check so your career doesn’t go (completely) off track.
