@Maz…, I’m an Aaliyah fan and for once I’d say Ciara’s actually chanelling her own lane finally. I really like this cover, it’s giving me a Sade ‘Love Deluxe’ vibe actually which cannot hurt. I do think the album cover looks hella cheap and uninspired, surely it cannot cost a lot to create a high quality looking album cover. Even if you don’t create the whole sleeve and it’s just so the blogs can show something. Case in point; some people on this blog saying this cover signifies ‘Ciara’s not playing his time’ etc., a strong cover can sometimes be the difference between an audiene bothering to listen to your music or not.
I don’t get it tho… from Usher to Fantasia to Ciara, some of the wealthiest acts around are phoning in ‘Club Nite flyer’ quality album sleeves. Of course it’s the music that counts but why when there’s an abundance of great looking recent photoshoots do they always seem to chose the cheapest looking shots (and then soft focus the sides just in case there was any doubt in your mind that it was thrown together on the cheap lol)?

I like Ciara and love this song but this cover is horrible. Looks reminiscent of a Sade cover, but unlike Sade’s natural hair which was flat to her head, Ciara’s is poofy and it makes her look like the Predator.
