R&B singers do it all the time for YEARS…. she will always be the standard and trendsetter y mixing all her talents together as ONE. That album looks closer and closer to finally hitting a store near you.

Her performance at Rock The Bells was still shoddy as hell. I love Lauryn as much as the next person, but I’m gonna be honest nonetheless. I got no problem with improvisation and whatnot, I understand why it’s done, as artists of practically every genre do it. And yes, it is a good way to keep old and overplayed material sounding fresh. But the few recent performances I’ve seen of Lauryn as of late has me worrying that she’s not as good as she once was. Her voice sounds ragged, and her flow isn’t as tight. I can understand being rusty after several years of not performing, but still. It’s not like she’s toured and performed SO many times that her voice has become overused like many other singers, so what’s her excuse?

glad she’s back but her voice is changed and ragged. She needs to work on that but her flow is still great.
