With Lloyd‘s new album ‘King of Hearts’ set for release early next year, the R&B singer decided to accompany his new material with a new look. Having sported a lengthy mane since debuting in 2004, the 24 year old cut his hair – donating it to the ‘Locks for Love’ charity, whose wigs benefit those who have lost their hair via illness. {Via VIBE}

It must be a slow news day..so! Now don’t get me wrong I think donating his hair to “Locks for Love” is a great thing to do. With that said, his hair gave him a little more character IMO! I do understand the need for growth and change so ill just say good for him!

He seems to be one of the few singers out their who’s actually REAL and not a figment of our imagination – created by publicist, managers, record companies and so on! Wonderful change and look! I think this looks SOOOOO much better. He looked like a 17 year old boy with the braids, now he looks older. He has a good grain of hair, too, so he’ll look straight with any cut.
I think Lloyd is cute but he just has that ‘lame’ factor going on sometimes.

I think he looks cute. I guess he felt like it was time for a change, but like Omarion I don’t really think its gonna help his career or get him more recognition. I agree with @Jonberry though. His hair gave him character, it made him stand out from the rest although he was never really a force in the r&b world to begin with. *shrug*
He did it for a good cause though so good for him. I’m still not checking for him musically though. His current single sucks.
