I heard him say in an interview a while back that he listens to them frequently and he did a cover so me being the Kings of Leon fan that I am, I checked it out and um, Trey, NEVER AGAIN! Let me state this since ya’ll seem like ya’ll don’t get it, Trey does not give a F*** what you think about him! And to everyone who says I like the old Trey better, you really haven’t been much of a fan because this was Trey back then and will always be Trey. I really don’t see why people think he’s arrogant especially in this interview. I think it may be just a difference in culture and the area in which you grew up in because to me he acts no different than my next door neighbor or the kid down the block. Its that Southern Swag and he’s just cool like that! I think many artist are misunderstood and he’s one of them, because I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him a couple times and he’s a sweetheart and extremely funny!
And people keep saying “he better enjoy it now because he’s not gonna be around for long” but with every album he gets better and his fan base grows (ex: record sales!) No other current artist record sales have grown with each album like his. The fact is he has people who LOVE him so they out weigh the haters like ya’ll. So I think ya’ll just better get used to him because he’s not going anywhere…

I am by no means a fan of Trey, but his cover was surprisingly decent. It lacked soul, but at least he didn’t butcher the song. However, what really got me was him trying to romance some random chick from the audience. I mean, I just cannot with that corny-ass b*******. That is not s***, that is trying too hard. He really needs to stop being something that he’s not.
