That was incredible. Other than the fact that the video included some exciting fight scenes, which were framed by precise editing, the gloss of the production was quite impressive. Brown is definitely ensuring that he gets the highest quality for his money. The thought of his new single, ‘Yeah 3x’, getting a similar treatment is very intriguing. Great work!

I watched the vid this morning, and it was…decent. I’m not gonna act like I loved it, because I didn’t. I get that the people chasing him were supposed to symbolize the photogs and his intense media scrutiny since the ‘incident’. It seems he got to do in the video what I bet he wanted to do to a lot of photogs in real life. Lol!
I guess I just expected it to be more to it, longer than some four minutes, especially since it took so long to come out. *shrugs* I am excited to see the rest of the series though. Its going to be interesing to see how he is gonna incoporate other songs into the series. 11 more videos to go!
I caught a lil bit of him on Ustream last night he shared a lot of music and exclusive info with the fans! He kept saying he was gonna get in trouble with his label for playing snippets. Lol! I was on NL and someone posted this link and I found it interesting because when you play Calvin’s beat along with the lyrics of Yeah 3x as Calvin is so called claiming it doesnt sound the same. When Calvin beat from his song is played with Yeah 3x, Yeah 3x doesn’t sound the same. So whats the big deal? That pretty musch proves the beats are similar but not that much. SO I guess thats that 😀

Neonlmelight. I was on their website and a commentor posted the link to the video. And as you can hear the beats sound similar to a degree. I mean we aren’t death we can’t deny that. But if you can NOT take the beat from I’m Not Alone(Calvin’s song) and play it along with the lyrics from Yeah 3x and the song Yeah 3x still sound the same then Calvin has absolutely nothing to talk about and he has no case on his hands. Point. Blank. Period. I like what Chris said on ustream last night about how there are people in the industry who have hit records and songs, but don’t really have the raw talent and they lose their awe factor when you see them perform (I’m paraphrasing). I think I might have an idea of who he was talking about lol. I also agree when he was talking about Janelle Monet being a true entertainer (again, I am paraphrasing what he is saying). The thing is that there are so many people out there who have raw talent, but the music industry only cares about money. It’s so obvious and it’s a shame that some people are willing to be puppets for these greedy record labels. I’m not saying that getting money isn’t a good thing, but there comes a point where you have to care about losing your integrity, and it seems like that doesn’t even matter to these record labels.
