Chris is an anime freak so I wouldn’t be surprised if THIS was the cover. He’s always doing things that’s creative and thinking outside of the box. It’s kind of like what he did with ‘Crawl’ and ‘ICTY’ covers. His house if full of graffiti artworks and anime as well.

I know some people don’t like this cover, but if you are in to anime you would know that this is typical manga anime art. If Chris Brown did draw that picture that he is damn good.
@Mishka & Likeceasar: I was thinking the same thing! He and his team know what they are doing! By not using him on the cover it won’t turn people off who like the song but still feel a certain way about him. Smart move! They did the same thing with Graffiti for the ICTY & Crawl covers.
I totally thought that it was a joke the first time I saw it, but I do like it. People may think its childish, but he is really into anime so if fits his personality. I also think it fits the song. When I look at the first thing that comes to mind is the line in the song where he says ‘If they mad and they don’t wanna party, tell ’em shut the f*ck up!’ Lol. It cracks me up! Love that line!

I was talking about the cover yesterday. I still think that it is crazy, but the thing that I do like about Chris is that he is not afraid to be creative. You can definitely tell that he is into anime lol.

Chris Brown is not a child, he is a 21 year old childish man. there are 19 and 18 year old men in the military dying for our country, so that is not an excuse. Yes the cover does look like Calvin Harris and I hope he screams yeah, yeah, yeah, all the way to the bank when they give him due credit and his royalties. So that settles that, which they have probably already done since they have now released the song.

An allegation makes it tainted?
This type of things happens a lot. Even Coldplay – one of the biggest bands of this past decade was sued a few years ago for a song of theirs another artist claim Coldplay stole.
There was an issue with a Beyonce song and a Kelly Clarkson song about a year ago as well. If there is a real issue, Jive, Chris and the producer will be sued.
Or maybe it is already solved and Calvin will be credited. But to say a song is tainted, how about lets get everything sorted out first? The song isn’t even officially released. I hope Jive was smart enough to clear it all up because the music video has been shot already.

Yes CB is ‘legally’ an adult, but he is a kid at heart. He is also an artist, not just with music but he also likes to draw and is into anime and choose to incorporate his love for anime into his love for music. He is not the first artist to use animation as his cover art. Hell, there is a band (I believe they are called the Gorillas) who use animation for their whole videos. If you were a fan of his, which you obviously aren’t, you would understand it.
Just because someone at 18 is old enough to serve their country doesn’t mean they don’t act childish at times. It is a scientific fact that the human brain doesn’t fully develop until the mid 20s. I’m sure there are plenty of young men and women who serve this country who like anime as well! I bet many of them will be jammin to this song when it comes out!
FYI: Calvin already said weeks ago on twitter (when all of TeamBreezy was going in on that ass) that he WASN’T gonna sue! He knows he made an ass of himself. He did all that ranting and raving on twitter trying to call CB out, when it was the producer who he should have went after! CB didn’t produce the beat, he just wrote the lyrics. Obviously Chris and his people aren’t threatened because they haven’t even addressed the situation and they are moving forward with the release of the song.
Besides the songs are completely different! Its the beats that are similar. Beats are borrowed and sampled all the time. Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson had two completely different songs with the almost the same beat by the same producer. They both released their songs, both songs were successful, neither one of them sued. It didn’t matter because the songs were completely different. Unless Calvin produced the beat himself, which I doubt he did, he has no case. He is just another person who used that beat. There is another song on Youtube with a similar beat that came out years before Calvins song!
The cover art is probably exactly how Calvin is gonna look when ‘Yeah 3X’ becomes a hit!
