This version of the song is a lot better than the original. Drake’s melodic intro and the lyrical froth provided by all of the artists involved definitely outshined Tyga and Kevin McCall’s unimpressive verses. With this record on the radio people could expect Brown to hold on to his position at the top of the Hot Hip-Hop/R&B Songs chart to be extended.

Andre 3000, I like him a lot, but going from Fabolous’ verse to his… it kind of put me to sleep. But his verse did get better. I do like the original much better though.

Even with the quality not being all that great, this s*** is FIYAH! I think this is better than the original! I like how Drake begins with that melodic feel. T.I. murdered his verse, Kanye went hard, and Fab was awesome. I wish Andre gave me a little more but I will always and forever LIVE for that dude! LOVE him! <3

And with Chris part I was hoping he’ll sing more than what he did but I guess, by this being a remix, his part will be much less than the others. Maybe he’ll add onto it before “F.A.M.E.” drops, maybe not.
Why did they change the beat during Drake’s verse? I got confused for a minute and thought I was listening to a different song. 🙂

T.I.’s flow is RIDICULOUS! I love the way he rides the beat!

I hate Andre 3000’s verse, that s*** was wack. The rest of it was dope though, Drake and Kanye killed it. But I would have liked a bit more vocals from Chris other than just the chorus at the end. So I think I prefer the original.

Why is TI rapping in that annoying staccato flow like hes half way ratarded? You call that good flow? Ti had a decent verse though but his flow over the beat was below standards. The song put me to sleep so by andre’s part I didnt get to hear what everybody was complaining about him. I got to hear it again when i get time to really dissect it. but
No amazing verses, no one stood out- Fab was ok but it was eh in my opinion. Im not hearing this outstanding remix. It could have been a lot better in my opinion.

Are you really all that surprised that her song was placed high on the charts? Artists make the countdown/charts one of three ways: record sells, radio requests (airplay), and by the corporate imps who control it all and position their favorites wherever they want them to go…LOL!

Funny, I JUST read a review by Tim Robey, a “film critic” on/from the U.K. Telegraph, and the ONE-AND-ONLY thing he likes about this movie was Chris’ chase scene; he called Paul Walker a “grinning skeleton…!!” And if I’m not too mistaken, Idris Elba IS British and you have Paul Walker AND Hayden Christensen.
…Oh, and they have a new/different trailer for ‘Takers’, one that highlights Mr. Christensen! And then there’s “Takers’ Brasilian premier,” which happens next month. The Brasilian Real is trending higher against both the Euro AND the U.S. Dollar. If I were a studio, or Chris, I’d look to capitalize on that, in-any-way I could!
Their filming the next “Fast and Furious” in Brasil! I have no doubt, Paul Walker is a big draw down there. Sony/SG should send Chris there, or he should take the initiative and go down there himself. Hadn’t he sold-out, during his recent Brasilian concert/tour, ALL of his tour dates? Well then, “Takers”, being shown down there, can only help!
I said it before(months ago), and I’ll say it again: I just hope Chris held-on to his Reals and hadn’t converted them into U.S. Dollars; not just yet!!
