T.I sat down for an interview with the ‘Ricky Smiley Morning Show’ where he revealed that the title of his next studio album has been changed. The rapper, who is currently preparing to serves an 11 month jail term for parole violation, has renamed the LP ‘No Mercy’ instead of the original title ‘King Uncaged’. Check out his reasoning for the swap below:

A MESS…. Dis n**** had to change the name of his album title…..he probably even had to cut out a few hottt tracks that has relationship w/ the old title of the album. SMFH SMFH I like T.I. n ALL but Im very disappointed wit dis stupid ass n**** right now.

Lol. Well he didn’t have much of a choice did he? Now let’s just hope that he doesn’t mess up anymore and actually be around to promote his next album. SMH!
I just want to know if he is going to release ‘Get Back Up’. Love that one! Everything else I have heard thus far is lackluster.

I knew that he would have to change it. I hope that he learns his lesson this time. I thought that he had last time, but like he said himself, “My road to redemption has no g.p.s..”
Damn, I am really anticipating this album, but it seems I have to wait another year for it. Smh. Damn, you T.I. but I still love you, though! 😉
Glad he changed it. It wouldn’t make sense to keep the title as “King Uncaged” because it wouldn’t fit his soon-to-be circumstance of serving time in jail when the album releases December 7th.
He should just really scrap the entire album altogether. This project just did’nt get up off the ground the way he had hoped it would. Everything sounds like leftovers from his last era. He needs a new sound. His sound has become dated. He’s losing endorsement deals left and right. Just not good. But i hope he’ll get through it.
