Chris Brown has announced that he will be releasing a followup to his ‘In My Zone’ mixtape. The singer, whose latest single, ‘Yeah 3x’, recently debuted at #33 on the Billboard Hot 100 with little promotion, will drop ‘In My Zone 2’ on Black Friday (November 26th).
However, that’s not all Brown has in store for his fans. He is also set to embark on a world tour beginning in January 2011. Expect to see Brown performing shows in the UK and Australia before ending the trek in the US in Spring around the time that his new ‘F.A.M.E.’ album hits stores. Happy new year! {Source}

That’s what sales are. I think it’s very impressive that Yeah 3x debuted at #33 because I think it’s a crap song, but that chart position is like Nicky said based on airplay and paid download sales

Ciara and Chris Brown are cool w/ each other. So it’s not Ciara folks should go after, it’s this person who has a problem w/ Chris Brown.
I look forward to his tour. He has new dancers too and I know they will bring a party. Chris sold out his shows in the UK and all of the ones in the states. More people have now jumped back on his bandwagon so I know the tour will be successful. Nobody needs to knock other artists’ hustle. I’m still proud of CB and I know his TALENT is REAL, so the word flop and variations of it doesn’t hurt my feelings. He is a one-man show that doesn’t need props or other things besides a mic, music, and room (for dancing) to pull off a show.
I would promise anybody on this blog that if you are not a fan but you see him perform on tour, you will be a convert at the end of the night.

When we say promo, we’re talking about what the label has spent to promote a single. You’re mostly referring to buzz where blogs discuss an artist on their own accord. BB hot 100 counts paid dowlands and airplay, not how many times someone visits someone’s blog. I can click on Rihanna’s S&M on this site as many times as I like, but it won’t affect her BB hot 100 chart position any. The song won’t chart unless it’s either sent to radio or offered for sale on Rhapsody, i-tunes, Amazon, Napster, or Mismatch.
@nicky FYI, yeah3x is 34 on rhythmic and will be top 50 on Top 40 radio tomorrow with no official adds date on that format. He has fewer stations than most regular rotation songs but still manages to be third highest taking off song. Itunes should pick up as the song picks up. It has not been out a month, it just went for rhythmic adds two weeks ago. and of course it’s not even a real comparison since CB has had to put up with pop radio essentially banning him. He now has more pop radio stations playing this song than any other he’s released since 2009. But you already know all this. It makes more sense to compare CB to his peers. And except for Usher he has more buzz than all of them combined and is about equal with Trey. Chris is doing fine.

@Mari – Neither song had an official adds date for the pop format. Deuces is #49 right now and peaked at #41 with very few stations playing and most catching on really late after it was already #1 on urban for weeks. Yeah 3x is #51 right now. More stations are playing this song than Deuces, it just has less spins since it is just starting to take off. I’m not even concerned about this being a hit on Billboard or iTunes. There are still too many barriers with promotion and radio play. This song will be a success if gets the pop stations that banned him to play it at all and with at least some regular frequency.

And I’m no worried about Yeah 3x falling on iTunes. Was Deuces every even Top 30 on iTunes? And it made it pretty far. DOn’t get get me wrong itunes is important so keep buying but its not the only thing BillBoard is based off of.. It debuted #17 on Digital Charts. iTunes isn’t the only place to buy music.
Deuces also fell back on iTunes after its first week. Then got some airplay and gained some notice and went back up. See when artist don’t have heavy promotion from their label’s it doesn’t shoot to the top of iTunes.

I love that he is going on tour. And as much as I didn’t want him to put out another mixtape, I cannot wait for it. I love that “Between The Lines” song. It’s been on repeat. I’ve been requesting “Yeah 3x”, “No Bulls**t”, and “Deuces” like crazy in between writing my report for technical writing and my chemistry homework. I’ve also been voting for the AMA’s. By charts I mean Billboard cause iTunes isn’t getting her ass on the charts. She has released 2 singles and videos to go with those singles and where are they on the charts?? Exactly! At this point Ciara would be very lucky if CB brought her along on his tour, cause I don’t see what other offers she has. This is really good news for Breezy I know, and don’t want to ruin his moment but I had already heard a while back that he was gonna be touring overseas at the start on next year. Sometimes TGJ can be kinda late with their news. CB hasn’t said anything on twitter yet, so I guess he is waiting for things to get finalized before he makes a public announcement. Personally. I would like to hear from him that he is touring before I get to excited cause TGJ isn’t exactly the most reliable source.

I’m just watching Va Stand Up and Lady slay!
You can see the number of stations playing when you look at spin increase on top 40. It is second taking off song, BEP is first. This represents most new spins on new stations. Y3x was added by 10 stations last week but a station does not have to officially add it to play it. Right now 63 pop stations are playing the song. Only 40 or so played Deuces and that was the same for ICTY. Note, it hasn’t even officially gone for adds on top 40, the stations are doing it on their own. It will be top 50 on that format tomorrow. If Chris can get even the majority of pop stations to play this song it will warm them up for singles closer to the release of album.

I don’t even consider Taylor Rih’s competition, she has to compete with Katy, Lady Gaga and Bey. It’s a good thing that she is releasing ‘Loud’ this yeah because I am sure Gaga and Bey are gonna dominate next year. Gaga is the biggest pop singer out right now and anything she drops will probab;y be a hit. Bey hase been gone for what seems like forever so the Bey stans, myself including are dying to hear new music from her. I really appreciate artist who take time off so that the fans can miss them and anticipate new music from them and don’t drop an album every year.
Honestly all CB has to compete with is Usher and Trey (sorta of) but since Usher and Trey have already dropped their albums this year, all of his competition is out of the way! F.A.M.E. should do really well next spring. ‘Yeah 3x’ has already made a huge debut on the charts in the US and in other countries as well, he won his urban crowd back over with ‘Deuces’, the remix is getting steady airplay and all three songs are still in the top 10 on iTunes top r&b download! Plus he is about to embark on a wold tour. We already know Breezy is back! I come back from my college classes, and some of you crackbabies are still at it. When Chris was losing endorsments, jumping in and out of courtrooms, I didnt see ya’ll asses up in here. But now that hes slowly but surely making a comeback, you all want to throw shade? That lets me no right there that some of you all are scared. For the past 2 years people have been saying his career is over.
