I gotta admit I am hella disappointed that he ‘Yeah 3x’ fell out of the top 40, but I am not surprised. ‘Yeah 3x’ video premiered weeks ago now, it got a lot of coverage on blogs and it got great reviews, positive feedback and is well over 1 mill hits on Youtube, but now the hype has died down and so has the sales. CB is the type of artist that needs to be ‘seen’ (i.e. peformances) If he doesn’t start making appearances and performances of the single soon, I don’t know what is gonna happen with it! The song is OK to me, but I think just like the video, seeing him perform it live will get people more interested in it. Sometimes a visual will really help people like the song!
If you notice certain artist singles start doing better after they start making perfomances and appearances(( i.e Katy Perry ‘Fireworks) That’s how they ‘promote’ their singles. Right now all CB has is twitter and some blog sites. He needs to get out there and be seen. Hopefully his World Tour will help the single, but he doesn’t start that until January.
I also blame Jive, CB does his part on his twitter, but I don’t see where they are doing much to promote him their damn selves.They frustrate the hell out of me!
I am not too concerned though because ‘Deuces’ didn’t perform well on iTunes at all at first, and even fell off the charts in it’s early weeks, and we all know how well that did! Lol! S

Really? I loved Loud, except for a few tracks. “Man Down” doesn’t have suggestive lyrics. But “Only Girl” does. “Skin”, “What’s My Name”, and “S&M” are the only songs about s**. The only song I don’t like on the album is “California King Bed”. But I don’t think the album has fillers. It’s really her best album, to me.
Unlike Katy Perry, I think Rihanna and Beyonce (and Gaga, but we’ll see after BTW) top each album with the next.

I think “Man Down” is 4.5 minutes of bliss but mega repeating. It’s just “man down” over and over but I still like it. I don’t know if I think Loud is generic or not. It has generic songs but it makes up for it with a large Caribbean/Bajan influence. I think it’s really a better executed version of MOTS. I really am surprised at how many ballads there are. They’re good but I thought that, with a name like Loud, it would have more upbeat songs.
I think Rated R’s last few songs were fillers, but Loud really doesn’t have fillers. I like about all I hear.

This new album really lacks substance. What’s my Name, LTWYL p2 and Complicated are my favorite songs off of it. At least RR had songs that were memorable! This album shows no growth at all. It seems like she's trying to remake past hits or leave her dark look by doing generic s***. The only thing that made RR dark was HER! The songs were great but she did not have to change her appearance to all black everything! That was her biggest mistake.
The dark image suited Rihanna so well. It’s too bad it didn’t live up to album sales “expectations”, hence the new happy, inlove floral look!
I wish she would make another album like Rated R, someday…

RIHANNA is very much a poor man’s Beyoncé. Weaker voice, much less charisma and pretty where Beyoncé is beautiful.
That’s why you end up with an album of songs that don’t quite cut it, often with an OK voice but one that’s been through so many machines it sounds like you’re being sung to by the Sainsbury’s lady who announces “unknown item in bagging area”.
Sometimes sounding a bit like Cher’s Believe, so not exactly cutting edge, some of the lyrics such as the “whips and chains excite me” bit of S&M smack of desperation.
