The first single from Christina Aguilera’s ‘Burlesque’ soundtrack has surfaced. ‘Express’ will be included on the record due in stores on November 16th. Give it a listen below:
Aguilera did a good job on this song. She sounded quite comfortable and didn’t try to push her voice beyond its increasing limitations. My main complaint is that the lyrics ended far too soon and there was almost a full minute at the end featuring only the somewhat dated instrumental.
Nevertheless, Aguilera did her thing and it would be interesting to see what kind of visual she puts forward to support this record. Also, is she going to be performing this at the American Music Awards or will she be performing something that allows her to show off more of her voice? Time will tell.

Her soundtrack is gonna be AMAZING! I will be getting it. Chrissy SLAYS! Say wtf you want, but she slays musically, & when she really gets it together she slays vocally too. & she’s a creative genius, & highly intelligent. I know this will be the 1st track off the album to introduce it. Idk about her vocally “limitations” as of now until she performs over a year vocally everywhere & it’s consistent that her voice isn’t where it was.
