I think the bottom 2 should be Katie and Paige!
One direction were good tonight…. they could win.
Mary, Matt and rebecca and cher were also good.

Katie and Paije will be in the bottom, I agree.

There is no way One Direction will win though. However, I know they will outsell JLS and make it big in the U.S.

The top 2 will be Rebecca and Matt if this is truly about the most talented. Either can win at this point.

3-4 spot is up for grabs between Aiden, Cher, Mary, and One Direction.

I honestly love this season of contestants! They are all so different and all cater to different markets. I think they’ll do well in the future!

I hate to say this but I AGREE THE X-FACTOR HAS BECOME RACIST.The best black singers like Marlon, Gamu, Kerri,Anastacia were shut out for weaker singers like Cher, Katie and Wagner.Paije has been first to perform virtually every week.I am sure they do not want black singers on tour at all.

Cher>>>>>>>>>>>>the rest. b**** might not be the best singer but she got swagger for days. I mean she can give you a little bit of hip hop, pop, and rnb. She just got that it factor.

Rebecca was amazing!!! She does not need that extra crap (ie the dancers, the big productions etc etc )! She has an amazing voice!!!

Cher will be like Rihanna, have people divided and has an annoying voice and catchy songs. Also like Rihanna and her mentor cheryl will have to release an album every year so not to be forgotten.

True talent doesn’t require swagger, you cant see swagger when a cd is playing.

Rebecca was amazing as usual and I too am tired of people talking about Cher’s swagger. The way she acts after her performance, like she killed it, no matter how off key or mediocre she really was is perpelexing. This isn’t a swagger contest, it’s a singing contest. A lot of kids go on youtube and imitate what they see and that’s what she’s doing, too. The only difference is that she believes she’s original. No real rapper, raps someone else’s lyrics so we can put the myth that she’s a “rapper” to bed. And don’t even get me started on the singing or warbling. Lastly, as for them trying to morph her into Cheryl with the same hair and similar clothing, well the whole lipstick on a p** metaphor seems apt.

    Cher to win

It’s weird PAije, Matt, Rebecca, and Aiden all share some simliarities in their voices, they all have that Simply Red sound, kind of nasally ( don’t know if anyone has noticed or pointed this out before). Katie—-I don’t get? Does she have a great backstory or something, why is she still there? I’m in the US so I only see x factor through this blog. She sounds sooo karaoke, except most of the people I’ve heard doing karaoke were intoxicated and sound like this.

Hallelujah, they fixed Cher’s brows, they look much better, it was kinda distracting!!! Her performance was good, as good as alot of current established artists, her voice isn’t that strong though. I really do like that X-factor creates a stage show for its contestants, dancing, smoke machines, etc.

I do think xfactor is racist also. They clearly dont want another black person to win after Alexandra. None of these people have more star quality than the ones who were turned away. I agree with the Cher comment. She’s from Worcestershire, nobody there speaks like that. If a black person behaved like that on xfactor they would have been called a bully and a thug

Rebecca is so not good yall get fooled because of her look, but the girl’s voice has NO vibrato !
Paije is even worst , he needs to go…
Aiden is the best singer to me (THE BEST OF ALL, yeah i said it)
I LOOOVE MARY tho ! I want her to win 🙂
Katie and Paije are the next to go for me, they just cannot sing.

  15. John November 14, 2010

but rebecca is half cast and all the judges love her and are routing for her to win so i can’t agree that the show is racist, the only reason the likes of Anastasia, Marlon etc. never went through is because the are looking for something different.. they still put Rebecca, FYD, Treyc and paige through, they all deserved there place i think!

  16. Laura November 14, 2010

I haven’t watched the X-Factor. In my opinion from what I have heard, it is similar to American Idol, but with more work on behalf of the “mentors.” As for the race issue, I really don’t think it is about race. It’s more about television, popularity, and entertainment. Granted, the show cannot have singers of color winning all the time. So, the producers and executives have to switch it up or they may fear losing their broad white audience. It’s a business from my perspective. Is it fair? Hell no. But, it’s really just entertainment. Cher is popular, cute, and doing something “urban” out of a 16 year old, thin, white body. Like I said before, it’s really just about entertainment and ratings. And I wouldn’t be surprise if over half of this crap is stage.
