It’s great that she wants to make an epic for her next record, but “Commander” came out 7 months ago, so the buzz is dying for this record and it’s not good that only one of the singles released from the album came even close to hit status.
well i know for a fact she nixed that whole album trail and redid her entire album..so commander,forever and a day, and rose colored glasses will not be on her next LP. It will have an entirely different feel..Hopefully she and her team makes the right moves..Because I see Kelly finally selling to her capacity and getting the respect she deserves!

That just seems odd that NONE of them are being used. I guess I could understand if the US singles aren’t being used but “Commander” did well and “Forever and a Day” was just released and she promoted the hell out of it so…but okay!
Just NEED that album! I hope she keeps it dance but doesn’t go back to urban or something. I love her dance music. It just…fits her.

I agree. I think that she’ll be able to make a good R&B urban/dance album. I heard that the US edition would be R&B/urban and the international would be dance. If so, I’m getting both, LOL.

I do not know how her hits never charted in the hot 100. I mean Rose Coloured Glasses and Grown Woman were the Best R’n’B songs of last year. I read some where that Radio refused to Playlist her song even though RCG was getting 1000 spins per week and it charted 39 on hot airplay charts through fans request. I think some Artist are being held back by radio and other media outlets as they do not want to support those acts. Which is very unfair how can a artist become huge without those. Would anyone heard her music if there was not any YOUTUBE.
It’s going to be difficult for her next year as Brit,Bee and Gaga are going to release an album and going to share the best slots and radio play between them. I think that was on of the main reason Rihanna rushed her album to be released in the year ends instead of waiting for early next year. Def Jam knew that she would not have as much attention and focus then.

Really do want her to succeed, but fear for her in the US where the Americans have been listening to the same style, turgid R&B crap for the last 10 to 15 years. Getting any decent music through this barrier must be hard – I suspect that many of our US cousins have now become hard of hearing!!!!!! You guys need to come to the UK to listen to some decent stuff.

To be honest I’ve given up on Kelly Rowland. I’ve given up on her because she has shown that she isn’t in charge of her career. “Commander” was an incredible single and deserved to be released in the US because it has a nice electronic beat that is big over here. All of her fans were asking and suggesting that she release it over here. It made the charts in many countries, but only charted at number 2 in a couple countries and in the Top 10 in a few others. It should have charted at least #10 in every single country it was released. “Forever and a day” was probably the best electro-pop song that I’ve heard this year. It had a nice, joyful, up-beat, lovely feel to it with powerhouse vocals and it flopped in every country it was released. WTF? “Rose Colored Glasses” and “Grown Woman” flopped hard too. Nobody is really checking for her and I blame her for having a crappy management and marketing team. She got rid of Matthew because he was unfair and held her back, but she still hasn’t gotten anywhere even without him. Kelly has amazing singles a lovely and powerful voice, and she carries herself well but I don’t see her being a successful music star. Gaga, Britney, and Beyonce are coming out next year, how foolish of her to decide to come out the same time?
This shows how you can be in a dress that is absolutely horrible and still rock that s***! LOL! You better get them! PLUS, you have to remember that it’s Vogue. LESS hoochie and more elegant designer wear… Lets look at the facts people! LOL!
