Pop titan Britney Spears is officially back! Having already notched up a #1 with new single ‘Hold It Against Me’, the singer’s forthcoming album has officially been given a releas date.

March 15th!

(The album) features “multiple songs” from pop masterminds Max Martin and Dr. Luke. Additional production credits include Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Fraser T. Smith, Bloodshy & Avant and more. Fans can choose between a standard (soft pack/wallet packaging) version of the album and the deluxe (expanded soft pack with additional booklet pages), which will feature three or four additional tracks.
In terms of Spears’ press plans, the follow-up to 2008’s Circus will be met with “a major TV event to launch the album” and a TV campaign, which will feature a variation of spots before the LP hits stores. The promotional rollout will extend to advertisements on everything from the Internet to the side of taxicabs. Other marketing schemes include a “LGBT/Lifestyle campaign,” worldwide online fan contests and routine tweets from Brit.

@ AmazingLee – Britney has been recording with Danja last week before she did her music video. We just don’t know as of yet if his tracks made the cut. Also you hotta remember Britney worked with William Orbit. Alex Da Kid, Rusko, Sean Garrett, Claude Kelly, Ryan Tedder and many other producers. So we just gotta congoing to wait IMPATIENTLY to find out the tracklisting and album title. Her team seems to be giving us details little by little.
Some of you forgot that Britney’s Circus album grossed 500k in first week, while Beyonce did less than that. Britney has a huge fanbase and people are actually waiting for her music (hence HIAM going straight to #1 in 17 countries in 24 hours breaking records). Dont count Britney out! Honestly, I dont think Beyonce or Gaga will produce anything that big on their latest efforts.
I can’t stand Britney Spears, but like any popular music artist, I’m interested to hear what type of sound she’s coming out with this time around. Her “Circus” and “Blackout” albums were wack, with the exception of a few singles. Britney can’t sing for s***, but from “In the Zone” to her first album, she always had good singles. And as for her performing skills, you stans need to give it a rest. I just saw her VMA performance for “Oops I did it Again,” and it was all hype. What I noticed is that Britney never could really dance! She’s a not a natural or amazing dancer. All she ever did was walk and jump around the stage, move her arms, kick her legs, do some hand movements, and shake her hips. She only moved her body with energy, not really danced. Plus, she had good background dancers that she blended in with. And that Britney campaign to promote the album sounds ridiculous. Taxi cabs? Why would Jive spend all that money on her? Madonna never even had any promo like that for her albums? LOL

To “MuzicWhiz” – Britney co-write 7 or 8 tracks on her “ITZ” album. She also co- produce a few songs and did vocal arrangements. Out of All her albums I believe “ITZ” was her most hands on music projects besides just lending her vocals. So I believe Britney did have co-write those songs and they didnt add her nane just cus. Because if so they woukd have credited her more on her other albums.So I doubt Britney would put her on a song she didn’t write. She has no reason too . But like I said her ITZ album seems to be the only album she was more hands on with. Now Lady Gaga, when she came out I really did like her. I thought her songs were good – nothing spectacular but something to dance and also workout too. I think she a great performer, sometimes a but over the top but I understand her strategy as far as performing. I’m not gonna even comment on the stuff that she wear. But then things just started to go down hil when she said interview that no one will ever see HER – meaning the real her. She said she’s gonna always be Gaga. And by her saying that, it comes off as very fake. I understand a performer playing a persona on stage but to play a persona and not let people see the teal het did not sit well with me. So by her saying that I just see her as one big gimmick. I also feel her videos overshadow her actual songs. She does have good pop/dance songs but nothing groundbreaking.
