You don’t shove off fans who have been waiting over five hours to see you by saying oh I previously dedicated my life to you etc. etc. You dedicate your life to music because you want to do it. Without your fans that wouldn’t be possible, how would you pay your bills without those people buying your music?
What you do is say sorry, ridiculous egotastic woman. I love the realness of Lauryn, love the album and still occasionally play it to this day. But she’s too mouth-all-mighty and it’s not always real things that she says. She’s said some effed up stuff in the past, and has been rumored to say some REALLY EFFED UP stuff. And the way she dealt with her moaning fans really put me off her as a person. I’m no longer a fan of Lauryn, but a fan of her music. She needs to do something real good to regain the people who support what she does, but in response to that she probably has some other cocky comment to come out with.

If you’re referring to Lauryn Hill, it is not nonsense, it is FACT that she has been treating her fans like s*** and needs to step the game up. Nobody’s hating on what’s shes already achieved, it’s the attitude that has come with it.
If you’re referring to Keri, it is not nonsense, it is FACT she is simply not on the same levels as Lauryn Hill. Whether you think her music is great or not, the lyrical content is simply not there and they are two completely different types of artists with two different types of mindsets. Lol at “coming off as haters”. It seems that anyone who has any thing that isn’t positive nowadays is a hater. First off, a hater is someone who ACTUALLY hates. And haters often HATE because they are jealous, and when this occurs, they go out of their way to spread their dislike of this person to the point of lying and hating on every move they make, although if the move came from someone else they would like it. An example would be me being a Mariah Carey fan and Mariah covers a song, but I’m a hater of Beyonce and Beyonce covers the same song and I say that it is pure b******* and Mariah’s is better, even if it isn’t. That’s an example of hating.
There are several differences between me and a hater. First off, I don’t “HATE” her music. Like I said, always loved her music, always have done. A hater would never admit he likes the work of someone they hate.
I don’t HATE Lauryn as a person either. Hate is a strong word and I would find it incredibly hard to HATE on someone I don’t know. The only types of people who I have feelings near hate for that I don’t know, are people like rapists and paedofiles, and even then, hate is still a strong word to use.
I also never go out of my way to hate on Lauryn, like you see people hating on Chris Brown every opportunity they search and can find, bringing up old stuff and talking s*** about him when it ain’t even relevant.

You need to do your research before you start commenting on what people have to say and calling them haters. What’s the point in arguing about something you know nothing about? For your information, Lauryn has been in the media recently because she was quite rude about how she tackled her fans booing at her for being EXTREMELY late on stage. It will take you FIVE seconds at most to do a Google search and see the video (yes, there’s a video for your proof).

@ Traci Summers, I actually wasn’t one of those people complaining about Ciara losing touch with “A” and accussing her of being too Hollywood. I never get caught up in insignificant things outside of the music. She can live in Cali if that makes her heart content and her speaking more articulately makes me proud of her progression, it doesn’t make me judge her. For the record I like Fantasy Ride and I was fine with the pop direction she was going in. I love Basic Instinct, but I see that album as a fusion of all her previous ones.
As for Lauryn, I wasn’t necessarily speaking of her music with my 1st comment. I’m not sure her sound would be so much of a departure from Miseducation because she hasn’t released music in so long. I assume it would be similar to MEOLH, perhaps just a bit more seasoned because she’s older and more than likely wiser. I was superficially speaking of her image. I miss her beauty! … but, she seems to enjoy rolling out of bed to be seen the way she does these days, so more power to her. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Exactly! I don’t know why, since she made one song that was a little risque and a bit, dare I say, slutty, that she’s automatically a “w****”. Every artist, even the likes of Beyonce have done songs/videos that are hypersexualized.
