People need to show Janet some more respect man. Who care’s if the venues are smaller! The fact of the matter is that she’ll still sell them out and she’s still got a tour. I don’t see what the problem is. Of course its not gonna be as big as her previous tours, but you know what, it’s a damn sight better than the likes of Rihanna do when it comes to touring. Janet is a legend in her own right. People should’t talk smack about her, when they come on this board ranting and raving about artists who can’t even break 40k units in their first week. Moreover, even if you don’t like Janet’s music, styl etc, she is one of the most graceful entertainers around – she’s pure class and should be shown more respect. Not the largest tour, Other acts still havent broken her attendance records, she set the standard for stage shows. ive seen all of janets tours from RN, JANET, VELVET ROPE, ALFOR YOU AND ROCWITH YOU. I went to a Janet Jackson concert in Las Vegas she slayed. Janet put on a show, she is a wonderful performer. I will diffidently be at her Toronto concert.

Janet Jackson is touring so she can show that she’s still relevant and has the capability to draw an audience. She’s most likely doing this so she can get a better recording deal with a label. But let’s face it she’s not on Madonna’s level as a touring act. She’s performing to 7K MAX on this tour. That’s not good for someone who’s held at such high regard as a overall Pop artist. 3. Janet didn’t sell-out the Superdome. The Essence festival is a 3-day event held every year. Janet’s not the reason for any of the success. If anything MJB was the one that brought in the interest seeing as that audience is her type of crowd.
