His success is way more based on his look, media and delusions than his songs. I listened his album and it’s merely a regular pop/trying-to-be-R&B effort. That album doesn’t explain this insane success he has been got.

Yes I am a CB fan (duh) but I think it is obvious that Chris has already passed that ‘teenybopper’ phase. He is 21 now, about to be 22, and he is still making hit songs, has survived a career ending scandal, and is still getting award/nominations (Grammys) and getting recognition for his MUSIC not just his looks. He is also working with a lot of heavyweights in the industry Kanye, Drake, Rick Ross, and soon to be Bruno Mars!
CB’s career has extended into his 20’s and that is a lot longer than most of those t*** hearthrobs that we don’t talk about anymore.
