The single verse that Kim had on this track was probably the best thing she has done since getting 5 mics in 2005. Even though her lyrics were far from inspired, Kim seemed invigorated.
It seems that the only time she gets excited about rapping these days is when she is attacking Minaj. Hopefully, Kim can find someone to to beef with every week until the release of her next album. That way we can be certain that she will be put forward somewhat interesting material instead of the garbage that was ‘Download’ with T-Pain.
Sidebar: This is definitely not Grammy Award material by any means. However, at least Kim doesn’t sound like she’s rapping into a cassette player in the alley behind the club like she did on ‘Black Friday’.
