Melanie Fiona had the honor of singing the Canadian national anthem, ‘O Canada’, at the NBA All-Star Game today. The singer preceded her American counterpart Josh Groban who delivered an equally powerful rendition of the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ for the sold-out venue.

She did a great job. It wasn’t a Tamia rendition of the anthem but it was above par.
“Oh Canada” is a freakin boring song to begin with. She couldn’t do anything with the melody and beats at all. The runs were stupid and not needed in this song. This is the lame typical song you just have to sing straight. Star Spangled Banner is so much better written and melodically much better and more complex. #FACT.

She was good. It wasn’t her best, but she can definitely sing. The Canadian National Anthem is just a boring song to sing though.
