Building on the hype for her hit mixtape (which has now ‘apparently’ sold 200,000), Lil’ Kim today released the video for its title track ‘Black Friday’.
Shot last December, the clip expectedly sees the 35 year old take jabs at rival Nicki Minaj, as well Diddy. The pint-sized star even manages to incorporate a quote from the late, great Michael Jackson.Array

While the clip did progressively improve, make no mistake about it – it is an unmitigated mess.
Mixtape cut or otherwise, I’ve seen high-school projects shot better than this. Cheap and uninspired, the fact the vid was in post-production for over two months (as if she was about to drop the hotness) only for ‘this’ to be the end result is even more embarrassing than her self-reported sales.
As one of those willing to give both Kim and Nicki a chance, it’s safe to say the latter has had the last laugh. Sigh.
